She could appear anywhere but definitely not in the same ce—that was the only certainty Hexia had.
Amidst a somersault, the emerald de in Hexia''s hand shed once more with Temisia, sparks of shattering light appearing underground.
As their figures interweaved, Hexia stepped on the side wall, leaped into the air like a wild goose spreading its wings, and just as Temisia prepared to strike at the opening with her rapier, Hexia soared upwards, as light as a feather.
Eventually, she stopped high in the air, swung her sword, and countless crystals shattered before rapidly condensing into a brand new, antiquely fashioned longsword. The hilt was square, the de slender and eight-sided, and a blue tassel adorned the end of the sword.
Wisps of magic power materialized from the void and converged upon Hexia, and the disheveled ck hair was now tied back with a Swallow Grass-blue hairband.
She was wrapped in a moon-white, traditional Eastern gown, its cor, sleeves'' edges, and hem adorned with blue cloud patterns, while the dress was embellished with motifs of swallows fluttering in dance, the sleeves wide and the belt floating neatly, dignified and splendid.
Natural Sequence 5·Azure Bird''s Inheritance: Branch Folding (Legendary Condensing Bead Rank)
——
"Ho, interesting. Who did you learn this from? Don''t tell me it''s just some showy tricks—"
In the blink of an eye, Temisia surged upwards with speed, like a ck streak of momentary light, her jet-ck sword gleaming like thorny lightning, crossing amidst the sky.
Hexia closed her eyes, no longer relying on sight to sense Temisia''s trajectory, but instead depending on her own intuition from her Transcendent Profession, along with rapid reflexes.
She engaged Temisia inbat dozens of times within seconds on the spot, then suddenly rotated the de and sheathed it in the scabbard on her left hand.
In an instant, her azure eyes snapped open, and a mournfully stunning huge arc sliced through the air.
''Azure Bird''s Inheritance: Swallow Clipping Moon!''
The jet-ck crystal de shattered, scattering under Temisia''s astonished gaze, and the shed arc left a bone-deep wound on her body.
The figure wrapped in violet-ck butterfly wings plummeted from the sky, dodging the constant Swallow light being swung down from behind. The sword de waved with high speed, creating a thinyer of luminescence.
The two rivals continued to battle in the air and then crashed into the ground, shatteringyers of crystals.
Amid the debris of broken crystals, Temisia stood up, wiping the blood from the corner of her mouth, looking towards Hexia who became fiercer inbat.
She quickly advanced again, a jet-ck, poison sting-like short sword appeared in the palm behind her.
Longswords shed, emitting a sound like gold striking jade, and tiny crystals mixed with the air wave scattered; then Temisia, like a butterfly pping its wings, swiftly retreated and then made a sudden advance with a twist while Hexia was in pursuit.
The ck sword edge cut through the Swallow Grass hairband, hair scattering, and then Temisia''s left hand drove the poison sting short sword directly into her opponent''s back, the ck Cursed Seal spreading across Hexia''s back, causing her body to stiffen.
But Temisia didn''t cease her swordy. After cutting through Hexia''s hairband and hair, she circled back and swung a huge arc to decapitate her opponent.
At this point, neither had any room to hold back.
In this extremely dangerous situation, Hexia pivoted on the tip of her foot, as if she had seen Temisia''s move behind her, twisted her body in the same direction as her opponent''s swinging sword, narrowly avoiding the sweeping de.
The jet-ck crystal de passed an inch before Hexia''s eyes, taking with it some strands of her hair, and then her flipping legs kicked towards Temisia''s wrist, momentarily weakening her grip and making her struggle to hold the sword.
After twisting around, a glow from the emerald de shed past, sweeping away the jet-ck magic sword from Temisia''s hand. It flew up high andnded on the crystal ground far away.
Disarmed, Temisia beat her wings, shooting up into the sky, with Hexia closely following. The two were like ck and white streaks of light, swinging and swaying high in the air and then shing with each other again and again.
In the end, Temisia suddenly stopped mid-air, and the violet-ck butterfly wings behind her dramatically unfurled, their seductively beautiful patterns spreading out, and a multitude of violet-ck crystal mist dispersed from the patterns like bullets, shooting downwards and sweeping across Hexia''s body.
Being cautious of the unknown attack, Hexia kept swinging her sword to block, deflecting all the iing violet-ck Crystal Bullets, sending them to the surrounding walls and the shaft''s steel frames.
And her caution proved correct; the Crystal Bullets that hit the objects quickly corroded and melted them, flowing down like liquid.
Taking advantage of this brief gap, Temisia began to cast a brand new secret technique high in the air.
She tossed the jet-ck magic sword high, letting it fly into the air, then extended her left hand, the purple Crystal Stone on her wrist turning into vines that began to grow. These vines and leaves spread out to both sides, forming long bow armsced with branches, and the hollow part seemed to create the pattern of a special Array. A flow of air went straight down from top to bottom, and as theyers of air blew, the thorny purple vines emitted a strange whistling sound.
The previously thrown jet-ck magic sword also fell back down, caught by Temisia, and in her hands, the jet-ck crystal magic sword stretched and twisted into a unique spiral arrow, with numerous streams of air carrying the Magic Power of the Natural Sequence infusing it, causing the spiral long arrow to burst forth with dazzling light.
