The culprit sure was quick. As soon as they realized she had infiltrated the backend surveince system, they immediately retaliated. Now, they were even trying to delete all the surveince footage to cover their tracks once and for all!

Felicia also sprung into action, her fingers flying across the keyboard as she <b>typed </b>a series of codes<b>, </b>simultaneously activating another counter- surveince program to track the hacker’s location.
The lucker, clearly startled, began scrambling to erase their traces. While they were <b>fast</b>, Felicia was faster, closing in on them. Just as she <b>was </b>about to obtain their location information, the ne hit some turbulence
That one jolt caused her to mistype one key, which allowed the hacker to escape and vanish, their presence sessfully concealed.
Both of their devices returned to normal, and as expected, all the surveince footage had beenpletely deleted, leaving no trace behind.
Felicia’s eye twitched as she tossed her tablet aside.
Scarlet had been watching the entire battle with great interest. An outsider wouldn’t understand the intensity of the fight, but Scarlet had some knowledge herself, so she could fully appreciate how fierce the sh between Felicia and the hacker had been.
They went back and forth, each counteracting the other, trying to hack each other’s system and crash the opponent’s device!

Felicia remained silent.
Scarlet patted her shoulder and teased, “Don’t worry. As long as I’m here, I won’t let anything happen to you ”
Felicia shook her head, not taking Scarlet seriously.
The distraction made her almost forget about the pressing matter at <b>hand</b>.
She quickly returned to her search regarding the old woman’s <b>tearful </b>plea about her missing granddaughter, Felicia decided to search for more information and, to her surprise, found other simr cases of missing women!
They all happened recently, and the victims were all young women!
The cases came from different cities, locations, and circumstances, but they all followed the same pattern–families reported their daughters missing and posted missing persons notices. However, since the cases didn’t generate much public interest, they didn’t gain much traction.
Felicia casually browsed through thements on the posts, and the most frequent response was, “Missing? With looks like that, she probably ran <b>off </b>with a guy!”
