Chapter 174
Meredith''s baby was Derek''s, and Parker believed that.
But since Derek didn''t want to admit that and hurt Meredith and her baby again and again, why should
he back down?
Parker was never a saint. In this situation, he could only choose to do what was best for him.
"Can you stop ndering us?" Meredith really couldn''t bear Derek anymore.
There was nothing she could do about Derek''s stubbornness. It was okay that he didn''t believe her, but
he kept saying that child''s father was Parker?
Why?
"Are you guilty?" Derek looked at Meredith''s angry expression, thinking that she was angry after her lie
was exposed. "I really shouldn''t have spared the bastard at your belly out of mercy!"
Derek looked at Meredith''s belly. Now her belly was obviously bulging, and every time he saw her
bulging belly, he just felt it was an eyesore!
It was the bastard of her and another man, and not only that, she wanted to take advantage of the
bastard to retaliate against her.
"Stop call the baby bastard." Parker frowned, but his words did not clear the thing. Instead, Derek
became more and more convinced that the child was Parker''s.
Meredith watched as the two men got more and more angry at each other and she only felt helpless.
Since Derek didn''t believe her, why did hee to her? Just to set her up for a crime she didn''tmit
and humiliate herself again?
"Forget it. Stop arguing. I''m tired. I want to go back and rest."
Meredith tugged at the corner of Parker''s shirt. She always felt that if they continued to confront each
other, they might start fighting.
Derek looked at her movements. Meredith didn''t even look at him. Instead, she grabbed Parker''s shirt.

So did she decide not to hide her love for Parker in front of him anymore?
She wanted to be intimate with Parker in front of him, but it was impossible!
"Meredith,e here."
Derek narrowed his eyes dangerously and ordered.
Meredith was stunned. She knew this voice so well and knew that Derek only spoke in this voice when
he was very angry.
Her slender body trembled, and Meredith looked over. "Derek, we shouldn''t see each other again. I
don''t want to pester you anymore. A woman like me is not good enough to be with you anyway. You''ll
have a better life. Please let me go. After I find out where my mother is and find out the truth, I''ll leave
here. In this way, we don''t owe each other anything. We''ll have nothing to do with each other."
Meredith said word by word. Although her heart was aching, she did not show any sign of it.
Anyway, Derek had made up with Chloe. It was only a matter of time before they got together. All she
could do was leave and didn''t disturb them anymore.
After hearing her words, Derek clenched his fists. At that time when she wanted to find out the truth,
she didn''t say that she would leave him. When he slept with her a few times, she didn''t say that they
would not owe each other anything in the future. Now that her lies were exposed, she wanted to run
away?
How could it be so easy?
"Meredith, no one can escape after lying to me. I just give you a minute. Come here!"
Parker was delighted to hear that Meredith was going topletely fall out with Derek. He held
Meredith''s hand behind her back. "Don''t be afraid. I''m here. Just do what you want to do."
Parker held her hand tightly, and her hand could not move at all. The heat of his skin seemed to be
burning her.
Unable to pull out her hand, Meredith could only give up. She looked at Derek and said, "There''s no
need to think about it anymore. I''ve decided that I will leave here and not disturb your life anymore.
This is good for you and me, and for the Xaviers."
Finally, Derek could not control his anger. He looked at their entwined fingers. He thought that they
were really bold enough to be so intimate under his nose. Then how intimate would they be when they
were at some ce that he could not see?
The thought that Meredith had the bastard in her belly because she had slept with Parker made Derek
furious. He strode forward and pulled the hands of the two of them away. "How dare you disobey me!
Go with me!"
As he spoke, he grabbed Meredith''s wrist and was about to leave.
Meredith struggled, but Derek did not let her go at all. His arms were like steel holding her. Meredith
even felt that if she did not obey him, he would break her bones!
"Let go, I won''t go with you! I say I don''t want..."
"Didn''t you hear her? Let her go!"
Seeing this, Parker stepped forward, but he couldn''t be as cruel as Derek. Seeing Meredith''s painful
expression, he didn''t dare to prise Derek''s hand. He could only stop Derek from hurting Meredith.
Meredith struggled. Derek sensed her reluctance and turned around. "Meredith, you forced me!"
As he spoke, he snapped the joint off Meredith''s hand.
There was a terrible sound from the bones which made her shiver. Meredith screamed. It hurt so much.
After her wrist being twisted by Derek, she felt as if her wrist had beenpletely crippled. Waves of
heartbreaking pain hit her, making her face turn pale in an instant, and she even lost the strength to
speak.
"Are you crazy?"
Parker never expected that Derek would be so crazy. Meredith was still pregnant with a child. She
couldn''t even take medicine for such an injury. She would die of pain. Besides, if she didn''t take good
care of her injury, she might suffer from this pain for the rest of her life.
"Get out of the way."
Derek heard Parker''s words and thought to himself, "Was I crazy? Perhaps. But it was because they
forced me."
Since Meredith didn''t want to go with him, he would keep her by his side even though he had to break
her wings.
Meredith did not struggle anymore. The intense pain of the dislocating of her bones caused her to
break out in cold sweat, which even drenched her clothes.
She did not dare to struggle any further because she did not know what Derek would do.
Meredith followed the man, and Derek did not think about her feelings at all. Even if she was already
staggering and could not keep up with him, he just continued to walk with big strides.
Parker looked gloomy and tried to stop them, but was stopped by Derek''s sinister eyes. "Parker, if you
take another step, I can''t guarantee that I won''t cripple her other hand!"
Parker stopped, and he didn''t expect Derek to threaten him with Meredith. "You crazy, she''s pregnant.
Do you want her die because of the pain?"
"Pain?" Derek sneered and looked at Meredith, who was about to copse. Her face was as white as
paper, and her lips, which were usually bright red, had lost their color. She looked as haggard as a
seriously ill person. "Pain, that''s right. That''s the lesson I teach her."
