Chapter 700


    Eugene looked at Theresa. He tried to say something, took a look at his mother, and walked away.


    E calmed down when she saw Eugene leave.


    Theresa had thought that E might throw a tantrum at her, but it didn’t happen!


    E just said to Theresa, “Please have a seat!”


    Her politeness took Theresa by surprise.

    The maid was still cleaning up the mess in the dining room. Theresa looked at E and suggested,


    “Why don’t we go and talk in the living room?”

    Hearing Theresa’s words, E stood up and walked into the living room. She sat down, sized Theresa


    up, and asked, “You’re a doctor?”

    Roderick sat down, looked at E, and asked how she was doing.


    E said, “I won’t die. Don’t worry.”


    Roderick said, “Your health is the most important thing. This is Theresa. She is my friend! I asked her

    E turned to Theresa when she heard Roderick’s words. She didn’t hold much hope. “I have an old


    problem that can’t be cured.”


    Roderick said, “That’s not necessarily true. This friend of mine is quite skillful. They said Charlie

    Hearing this, E turned to Theresa again.
