It all started when our college decided to give us a month off coz they felt we were working too hard and we needed a break. Not that it was false but it was''nt true that all of us deserved it either.


    Anyways, Joshua decided thatwe meetupduring the second week ofthevacations. Thiis was kinda necessary because the onlyplace I metthe others was my college soI kew that the vacations werre gonna suck. but our meeting was already busted because Lester, Diana and Minerva were off to different places fortheir vacations, but what the fuck anyway, right?


    Right.


    Yeah, so wished each other goodbyes and off we went to our homes.


    "Do remember to keep in touch fellas" Dakota yelled.


    "We will" Weasely said as he got into his car and sped away, leaving a trail of dust.


    Slowly, our gang dispersed... Joshua left, followed by Minerva, Lester, Diana, Darius, Hussain and Silvia. That left me with Gwen and Jordan. We three live together in Gwen''s summerhouse partly because it is near toour college and also because Gwenhad agreed to put up with me. Now I will not go around introducing all my friends, but will speak about two people in particular.


    Firstly,I will speak about Jordan.I knowJordan since we both were five, we have been through shittogether, been in the same school, lived in the same apartment, on the same floor,played on the same ground and now are in the same college. He is the first person I go to whenever I fuck up coz he''s the only person who knows me enough to save my ass. He also serves as my part time bank if I ever need change and small time money.


    Now, ifItalk about Gwen, she is the kind of person who''s hot, irritating and also a pain in the ass: all at the same time. I''ve known her since two years now and have been trying to hit it with her for like, two months now. EverytimeI try speaking to her, she either insults me or we start to argue so yeah,I really have a great progress.


    Anyway, we were walking our way back home when I aked them


    ''So what are we gonna do this holidays, bore ourselves to death? Coz I see nothing interesting happening in thre near future."


    "Not that we can see anything interesting happening with you around, Mr.Bean" Gwen taunted looking at me.


    See this is what I said. I had not said any fucking thing pointing at her and yet she says something that messes up my whole fucking day. The first day I met her, it was at a rally. One look at me and she was like ''Loser''. And believe me, theentire rally, when everyone was yelling ''Save the golden tiger'' Ourwoman right herewas yelling


    "You are a loser"- The exact thing she was telling to me right now. I looked at Jordan pleadingly who shrugged and walked ahead.


    Later on, after what felt like forever, we reached her home andI went into my room. So I jumped on to my bed and looked on the notifications on my screen. There was one saying my parcel was arriving today.I tapped on it and it displayed a box saying:

    And the worst part? I did not have the cash to pay the delivery guy and also did not have the cash to eat my breakfast tomorrow. Damnit, my luck is so bad. There was only one way i could pay up. I had to ask Jordan. SoI went up to him and knocked at his door.


    "Hey man, Can you lend me $50? I need to pay the delivery guy and also fix my breakfast for a month now." I aked him. I was probably gonna be yelled at because I had already borrowed money from him before and still owed him around $135.


    He looked up at me and said


    "Again?!! Where did you lose your money this time?I am literally pissed of at you. You lose your money every fucking time andI have to pay up!


    "I know it is true but please man, just this time, once. Please? I promise to youI will pay up by the next month. Beleive me."


    "Allright. but remember your promise okay?" He said.


    As I was about to get out of the room, Jordan asked me


    "What''s up with you and Gwen anyways? I mean, you are always sort of kinda different when you''re around her. Umm... No offence if you wanna keep it to yourself, but yeah so..." And started looking at me.


    SoI sat down in his room andI told it to him thatI had a crush on Gwenfor over five months now and we were talking about it for a long long time when suddenly the doorbell rang.


    "It must be my parcel. Lemme go get itin a minute man'' I said as I went down the stairs and opened the door. A man was waiting outside and he definetly looked tired. I looked at my watch and saw it was already 12:45 in the night. I thanked him for coming and then went back to jordan and wished him a goodnight before going to my own room and opened the parcel.The parcel wasstill heavy afterI took the book out butI did not care andthrew it away in the corner of my room,put my earphones into myeras and opened the first page.

    After a couple of pages more, I reached the first character:


    RAVANA

He was mythically supposed to have ten heads, each beleived to be immortal and impossible to kill. His death was when he accidentally fell in love with a major demigod''s wife and also had her abducted. Her husband supposedly defeated him in war by using an Astra {A major weapon supposedly to have the attributes of a particular god in them}

    I don''t recall falling asleep, but at around 2:00am at night, there was a knock at my door. I stood up groggily and opened the door, guessing it would be Jordan asking for some water. But when I opened the door, Gwen, with all her beautiful annoyance was standingat the doorstep.


    "Looks like we need to talk about a couple things now, don''t we?" She asked


    "It is Fucking 2:45 in the night. Dont we get it?" I asked her.


    "Well... I did hear what all you saidto Jordan back then?"


    And that was my cue to let her in my room and get my life officially fucked up.


    "So, you have a crush on me. Right?" She asked, propping herself on my bed.


    I decided to follow my insincts and shut my fucking mouth coz if I say anything and she wasn''t happy, I would lose my stay at her home.
