Mackenzie wasted no time and went straight to the point.
“Oh, which patient?” Juan furrowed his brows, thinking someone from the
Quillen family had encountered an ident. He was puzzled when thedy
mentioned Ryder’s name. While he had some knowledge about the patient’s
condition, he hadn’t had the chance to visit him due to his busy schedule. He
couldn’t help but wonder who this person was to be able to get Mackenzie to
intervene on his behalf.
However, instead of rifying his doubts with Mackenzie, Juan nodded and
got his assistant to apany them. They walked together toward Ryder’s
hospital room, and to their surprise, they found other people there who were
treating Ryder, even though it was just an ordinary ward.
“Dr. Brooks, is that you?” Juan was taken aback when he saw an old man
examining Ryder’s condition. It turned out to be Zander Brooks, a renowned
doctor in the southern region of Chanaea. Zander wasn’t professionally
trained, but he operated his own clinic, catering specifically to high–ranking

of this, each of them invited a renowned doctor to treat his cousin.
“That’s great! With so many people helping my dad, he’ll definitely wake up!”
Tommy eximed hopefully with a twinkle in his eyes.
“You must be Tommy, right? Emmanuel has mentioned you to me.” udette
hurried over while smiling gently at him. “I’ve invited Dr. Brooks to treat your
dad. He will find a way to wake him up!”
With that, she reached out to pat Tommy’s head. However, Mackenzie
