    “Take the child where you go. In the afternoons you will take her through the caves. Do you know your


    way around the caverns?”

    soon will feel too constrained if you try to keep her in your owners’ apartments,” Nu-reeh told me.


    “Feel free to take her and let her explore. The men will not touch her. If they do, they know the
