Hey , guys ... I am sorry for the late update but I started something in parallel with Maou : Summoning .
Right now I am writing my next book , Maou : Ascension . It is the continuation of this one (BTW this one has about 30 more chapters left) and I want to make it better and longer .
So far I managed to create the rough draft of the book but there is something “wrong” about it . It is really slow . Or at least slower that what I wrote so far .Furthermore, I want to make it slightly more serious than this one (only slightly tho) .
The first volume is going to be freaking boring (compared with what happened in Summoning) . This is why I want to write it in parallel with this one and when the time comes I want to post it all at once .
Well , I will work harder as my part time job is going to end on 18 this month and I’ll have more free time .
Well ... Without further ado , please enjoy !
Divine War Arc: King of Fools
Even with four out of my six senses sealed almost completely , I can still ‘see’ using my divine sense the contour of everything around me . Now , let me say this much at least ... I come from a small planet compared with this divine plane, but I never lacked luxurious and pompous stuff .
Palaces filled with gold and jewellery created by the greatest craftsmen from my world , temples decorated with sacred runes and items , statues that towered tens of meters made out of Jade and Emeralds . Still ... Compared with the entrance to Hecate’s Clan , those are just a joke !
The city itself is surrounded by a huge wall , over five hundred meters tall , made out of Dark Andrasin , a rock as strong as the finest steel , embroidered with formations that glitters in a myriad of lights creating a show that can be seen from thousands of miles away .
Above the city, I can sense a huge Divine Golden Barrier that covers everything ... This is slightly strange as something of this scale could be created only by a god level existence but I can’t sense any in this place .
There is a double door three hundred meters high and fifty meters wide made out of three types of metal . Outside a frail layer of pure Gold makes sit extremely luxurious and beautiful . Of course , the door is filled with all kind of defensive formations that should not be underestimated .
If activated at full power they could actually block one of my punches when I’ve released my Alpha Type Seals . The second layer is made out of the same Dark Andrasin like the walls which are to be expected . Still , the most amazing one is the third layer : 96% purity Adamantium .
In my former world , Adamantium was an extremely rare metal that was used for creating some of the strongest weapons that existed .
Of course, there were stronger things like Divine Star Dust Essence or Ancient Soul Hardened Metal , but it was still quite amazing .
At the gate, there are a few low-level guards that look to be in their spider form . Fortunately, I crippled my basic senses and I can sense their presence and a blurry form appear in my mind .
I can tell that they are in their Arachne form only based on their height towering over three meters , one meter above me . Unless they are some mixed blood from Arachne and Giants , they should be in their real form .
One surprising thing is that , although this is a huge city , there is no one waiting at the gate . Only us . The guards take a glance in our direction , then bend forward and offer a short greeting to Hecate . It looks like they recognised her instantly .
Like this , we entered the city without any problems . Quite a shame I might add ... A little show at the beginning might help things go smoother in the late run . Hopefully, an idiot will come out and help me with my introduction .
Inside the city , my mouth almost touched the floor ... To be honest, I am not easily impressed , but this is freaking amazing .
The street is at least one hundred meters wide with two or three stories buildings made out of stone with beautiful statues on each side . From Hecate’s description , this is actually the main street .
This is why everything is this pompous around here . At the end of the street , there is the Royal Palace followed by the Divine Temple and the 108 Great Mansions . After that , there comes the Normal Residential Area followed by the Slums and the Slaves Area .
Still ... Slaves again ... I don’t like this at all, to be honest . My mother and my sister died being slaves . I’ve experienced myself what it is like to be a slave , although my experience was quite good because my master was a nice person , but still ... No one deserves to be a slave . Even death is better than being owned by someone else .
Above our heads , there are an unimaginable amount of threads that covers the sky . Analysing them I can tell that they are used not only for decor but for defence as well as those are harder and more flexible even than that Adamantium door .
Looking around , there seems to be something amiss ... Although there are thousands of persons around , there is no one moving and I can sense a strange feeling permeating the air .
“Yra ... What is happening ?” [Andel]
“They are staring at us !” [Yra]

Ten minutes or so later , while still strolling slowly towards the Royal Palace , obviously surrounded by thousand of odd looks , a bloodlust aura awakens me from my contemplation .
Concentrating my Divine Sense forwards , at about eight hundred meters or so in front of us , a single man , although he could be a woman , an extremely ugly woman at that but still a woman , with a body covered in lizard like scales , march towards our location with big steps .
Around him, a slight murderous aura filled with the grief and anger of those that he killed can be sensed . From the density of his aura, I can easily tell that the number of people that have fallen under his hands exceeds 10.000 ...
Of course , if I were to release my bloodlust , even a God Level existence would kneel and prostrate himself begging for his life .
Furthermore , away from his bloody aura , I can smell the sense of fear in the air . Everyone around that catches even a brief look at his figure starts retreating slowly , with their heads down , trying to avoid eye to eye contact , while emanating an intense feeling of fear and despair .
“Krar’en ...” [Hecate]

With an anxious , slightly trembling voice I can hear Hecate spelling a name ... If I remember correctly , he should be her fiancé ... That is ...
“Perfect !” [Andel]
“Andel ...” [Hecate]
[400 Meters]
She grabs my hand and whispers in a low voice so that no one around us can hear .
“Remember what you promised me ! Please !” [Hecate]
“I still consider that my solution is better but I will do as you say for now !” [Andel]
“Thank you !” [Hecate]

“Isn’t it obvious ? Crush anyone that stand before me , kill your current fiancé , slaughter their top echelons and make their Clans in branches of the Arachne Clan ! Quite simple and efficient !” [Andel]
“Could you find a different way in which you don’t get involved ... This much ?” [Hecate]
“Why ? My plan is the best and the fastest !” [Andel]
“You might not understand , but for the Arachne Clan , Honour is even more important than our lives .
If we were to be helped by outsiders , although our problems would be solved , we would lose all Honour.
This is the main reason why we accepted the marriage proposition between me and Krar’en of the Naga Clan . It is the duty of my husband to protect my family . ” [Hecate]
“But I am your fiancé and you are my future wife !” [Andel]
“Yes I am , but in the eyes of our clan , you are just a no one that I met during my journey . Even if your power can guarantee the safety of our tribe , you helping us and then marrying me would make the Arachne Clan to lose all our honour . ” [Hecate]
“Sooo ... I could annihilate that Dragon something clan during the night and no one would ever know the reason ... Don’t worry , I wouldn’t completely annihilate it but I would destroy their strongest forces , all their defences and make sure that they wouldn’t be able to rise ever again . ” [Andel]
“I know you can but please , if it’s possible , let’s try to find a different , more peaceful and less bloody way to solve this problem .” [Hecate]
“Very well ... But if you are in danger even for a single second , I won’t hesitate anymore ! ” [Andel]

A slight smile appears on my face while an insignificant amount of energy starts moving around my body ... I get slightly excited ... I worked on this thing on our way here using some plants that I found in the forest ... And you , my friend , my fool , are the perfect subject to test it on !
