Introduction: My name is Jason Alexander Sinclair and this is my story. My life has never been normal, being a Practitioner in one of the world's biggest cities will do that for you. But my life has taken a turn for the extreme, I've done a fairly good job keeping my head down. The supernatural courts seem to leave me alone and allow me to do my job as a detective for the New York City Police Department. But for the first time the Moon Conclave ordered me into action, investigate a nightclub being run by vampires. I nearly immediately gain the attention of the most dangerous vampire on the East Coast, Anastasia Vasiliev. Then a supernatural explosion rocks the club leaving many injured. Who did this? Who were they targeting? And how am I going to deal with being bonded to a vampire?...
