    Meanwhile, Aleron saw Baratos and Kka a kilometer away and waved his hand, creating a huge spherical barrier to trap them because when Yueha sliced that attack, the duo''s expression immediately turned grim.


    They realized that the opponent wasn''t a weakling.


    "Pieces of trash,e here and die," Yueha coldly uttered, pissed as she was interrupted at a good timing with her master.


    "Yue, they are two, so be careful. I don''t want you to get hurt."


    Yueha''s mood improved immediately as she turned to Aleron and broadly smiled, "As you wish, master."


    "Wait, we can talk," Kka immediately said as he appeared fifty meters away from Yueha. "Talk?" Yueha''s lips twitched. "You want to talk your way out of this?..."

    Baratos attacked the barrier Aleron created, but seeing that his full-powered attack didn''t even nudge the barrier''s energy reading, let alone put a crack on it, his face turned ashen. He flew and arrived beside Kka, his gaze on Yueha and Aleron, "Who are you?"

    Yueha''s eyes barely flickered slightly before Aleron saw a beautiful icy arc as a sword appeared in Yueha''s hand and cleanly sliced Baratos'' arm from his shoulder, freezing it and shattering it as he couldn''t even strike his attack.


    "Awesome," Aleron grinned.


    Baratos grunted with bloodshot eyes as he moved back, his thought roaring at Kka, ''Attack already!''


    "Please let me go," Kka said as he knelt in the air, his head fully bowed. "I will do anything if you let me live."


    ''No matter what, I have to stay alive,'' Kka''s eyes trembled with fear and agitation. ''I can''t die here.''


    "Actually, let''s not waste time, Yue. I''ll punish their souls in hell, so kill them fast."

    Kka''s head looked up and met Aleron''s eyes, sincere and serious as he wrote his death.

    The other demon guard seemed to use some kind of item, ringing rms all over the castle


    before rying, "Intruders in the main hall!"


    Aleron and Yueha immediately started feeling multiple auras approaching, including two Primv-rank auras of early-stage and several Exceed-rank auras.

    While Aleron and Yueha were in the Western region of the Demonic Continent, the East and North regions were in a simr situation.


    The Demon Lord Turthar in Nailzim that Aleron killed was one of the two strongest Demons of the Demonic Continent that Goddess Elysia had nted to begin the big war, but Aleron ruined that n by killing him.


    But a bigger threat was nigh-Demon Lord Narazar, a true Demon Lord, unlike Turthar who just called himself Demon Lord despite not reaching that status.


    Demon Lord Narazar sensed the seal on the Demonic continent vanishing, so he didn''t waste any time contacting Demon Kings there for his summoning.


    He was on another, far away from the Ardentia. However, as a bonafide Demon Lord born in a Netherworld, an Akuma, he could contact Demons on others via the Netherworld as long as there was a demonic source on that.


    Netherworld was not a, but more like a ne, a dimension. There were multiple Netherworlds and they were the origin of demons.

    from the Netherworld to make it suitable for demons to live and thrive, much like


    Ardentia''s past.


    A Demon Lord had arrived with his army to rule this upied by humans and beastfolks, summoning Akumas from Netherworld for more chaos and to rule the poption. Just like that, Demon Lord Narazar wanted to do the same. He was a Warlord already and an early-stage Ascension-rank powerhouse with a under him, but he wanted more poption under him for faster development and progress as the Cosmic Ascension Competition was a brutal race.


    After all, there were only ten winner spots every hundred years, and only those ten could ascend to the higher cosmos ne!


    He had contacted demon kings and told each of them a way to summon him. He gave a method of sacrificial summoning to Baratos and Kka, requiring a sacrifice of a million demons to open a gate for him.
