It was an ordinary day for Michael. He had just gotten home from his job, a relatively mundane job in a game store, and was preparing a microwave pizza for dinner. Michael was a fairly average man, roughly 5 foot 9 inches in height, brown eyes, dark brown hair, clean shaven.
As the pizza was cooked, he turned on his TV. There was a news report on, "-e missing plane vanished not far away from the New York City airport roughly five hours ago, air traffic control still doesn''t know where the plane went, but authorities are looking into the matter."
"Great, another 9/11 in the making. That''s just what I need right now." muttered Michael. He got his pizza from the microwave and sat down to eat. Overhead, the dull roar of a commercial jet can be heard. "Huh, that''s awefully loud for a normal pla-"
Michael''s house exploded, and everything went black.
Black...
Endless black.
No light, no sound, no anything. An absolute void.
Then light, a dull red light in the distance.
Come.
A voice. A call. Something.
Come to me.
The light grew, and encompassed all of Michael''s vision. Then he was in a palace. A massive throne room. Only instead of a throne, there was a massive pile of gold. And upon that gold, sat a black dragon.
It was an awesome and terrifying creature. The dragon was easily 400 meters in length, it''s scales were the deepest black imaginable, and the membrane between its wings was a bright red. It''s eyes, it''sfour eyes, smouldered with a crimson glow. It had four wings, and four arms, leaving it with ten limbs in total. Perhaps the most impressive thing about it was the elaborate red halo that floated above its head, composed of strange symbols arranged in a hollow, eight pointed star. It radiated a power like none other.
Faced with this being, Michael had only one thought,It''s a god. He didn''t know how he knew, but he did. This dragon was undoubtedly a god, and a powerful one.
"Michael coleson,""Slain when a hijacked commercial jet liner crashed into your house. Not the worst death I''ve seen. Definitely quick." "You''re here because I need a new agent."This content has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere.
An agent? What does that mean? "I suppose first I should introduce myself. I am the primal dragon god of the void, my title is Voidmaker. My full name is... long. You may calle me Null. Now to business. An agent, in this case, is the instrument of a gods will within a universe they are forbidden from interfering in directly. I need you to become one."
Michael thought about that for a minute, then said, "Why me, of all people?" The dragon chuckled."Well it didn''t have to be you specifically, but you were the best option at the time. You do realize this means you live again, right? Besides, the other option was Kytal Otarch, and he''s basically space Hitler."
"Hahaha! Yes I suppose it is, how about that? I think I can even set up one of those ''system'' things for you, if you want."
"Wait, just like that? I had thought this would take more convincing.""Well then, let''s get this caboose rolling, shall we? Let''s start with this..."

Whoah, that''s neat!Michael thought, watching the progress tick up."Now then, some information. I''m sending you to a world called Terravira. It''s a fairly standard world of magic, although occasionally you might find some steampunkesque automatons and the like.""Oh, i forgot to mention, I can''t really do humans. I have no idea how they''re supposed to be put together, The human gods won''t share."
Wait, what?
