It''s been a good couple of months since I last wrote the final chapter of Book One. And in that time, I gave this story a lot of thought. The Tempestatem has morphed into different versions on several occassions. It is nothing like when it was first written in 2015. Personally, I feel like I''ve matured as both a person and a writer through this process. There''s a lot of love here.


    I went through a bit of a rough patch in my time away from writing. What started as a routine break transformed into a series of life-altering situations. I had to cope with most of it by sacrificing a ton of what I loved to do, The Tempestatem was no exception. But in that time, the book and this story never once left my mind. It stuck with me firmly, and the more I thought about it, the more I realized how much it meant to me.Stolen story; please report.


    We''re at the tail end of 2019 now, and I''ve finally reenergized to writing again. It''s time for this story to undergo another transformation; this time is likely to be the last I hope. I feel like I''m at the cusp of something. The few friends I forged here at RoyalRoad, and also a few others I know IRL, they''ve given me some much needed advice and direction. Hopefully, my instincts reflect in the work.


    I want to thank all of you for sticking with this story despite its irregular posting schedule. Know that I''m working on this story with a lot of love and passion.
