Chapter 1807 You Killed Him
Le seemed unnerved by Sheryl''s reaction. Furiously, she came closer and tried to shake off her
hand. In a voice filled with anger, she asked, "What? Do you think you can get yourself out of this
problem if you don''t listen to me? Do you think it will change the fact that Charles was pushed over by
you?"
Sheryl was in tears and wasn''t in a position to say anything. She had a serious headache, so nothing
that Le said made sense to her. Her mind was still trying to understand what had happened. She
couldn''t believe that Charles had fallen into the water. It was like a nightmare that wouldn''t leave her.
Le had never seen Sheryl look so unhappy. Secretly, she took pleasure in her distress. Looking
around, Le noticed that the people around were pointing their fingers at them andmenting.
Smartly, she devised a n. Using her energy, she faked Sheryl pushing at her as well.
It was a deceptive movement, but nobody could make it out. They all thought Sheryl had pushed Le.
"Ah..." Le screamed to make it more dramatic. Then she fell to the deck. Earlier, she had wrenched
her ankle, and now she couldn''t even stand up.
In Fabulous Hotel, Nick was busily trying to sort out the situation.
He had checked the security video, so he knew what exactly had happened. After figuring it out, he had
made several phone calls. In spite of this, he couldn''t understand the motive behind this woman''s act.
''What did I ever do to her?'' he thought helplessly. He had no recollection of ever offending her.
Nick finally contented himself by assuming he was just running out of luck. Perhaps, an unfamiliar
woman had decided to wreck his life, for no obvious reason. But now, this had brought a fight between
him and Cassie. To make things worse, he didn''t even know where his girlfriend was.
While thinking, he got angrier. If he had the slightest idea about where that woman was, he would have
taught her a lesson.
After handling everything, Nick texted Cassie and hoped that she would see it as soon as she woke up.
"Honey, I have found out everything. That woman framed me, and I have evidence that will prove I am
not guilty. You have to believe that nothing happened between me and her."
Nick suddenly thought of I''s words and called Sheryl after he went back home.
He called several times, but Sheryl didn''t pick up the phone.
Normally, Sheryl would instantly answer his calls. Hence, this made Nick suspicious. He wondered if
there was something wrong. He knew that Sheryl had gone to the party, and it wasn''t yet time for it to
be over. ''But even then, she would pick up my call. There is no way she wouldn''t have heard it. I have
called her a dozen times, '' he thought with a bit of anxiety.
This thought increased his worry. He looked at his cellphone for a while, and then he called I.
I was still waiting for Sheryl to call her back, and she was frightened when her phone rang.
Fortunately, she grabbed the cellphone tightly. Otherwise, it would have fallen on the floor.
"Nick, what''s going on?" I had thought it was a call from Sheryl. But she was relieved to see it was
from Nick.
"I, don''t worry about me. I can handle it. But there seems to be something wrong with Sher." Nick
anxiously told I what he had guessed. He realized keeping his doubts to himself wouldn''t help.
"What do you mean, Nick?" I''s earlier look of relief quickly turned into concern. Her mind tried to
Since I didn''t respond, Nick asked cautiously, "I, do you know something?"
I reacted soon after Nick questioned her. "Nick, Just tell me what happened."
"I, I have called Sher several times, but she didn''t pick it up even once. This is very unlike her. Now I
am wondering if she is in some sort of trouble. Do you have any idea what she is doing in Mysia?"
Nick was aware that Sheryl and Charles'' rtionship was not going smoothly ofte. Her sudden visit
abroad had left him surprised. And with the current turn of events, his shock was intensified.
"Nick, book a ne ticket to Mysia right now. I will send you the address. You need to go there as
soon as possible." I was worried that Sheryl was being bullied by Le, so somebody reliable had to
be there at any cost.
Earlier, I had nned to handle it all by herself, but now she realized such a thing wasn''t possible.
She was afraid that she might end up killing Le if she went there. Nick, on the other hand, was smart
enough to make sensible decisions.
"Okay, I''ll handle it from here, so you need to stop worrying. Also, go and get some rest."
After speaking to I, Nick hung up the phone quickly and booked the ne ticket. In less than half an
hour, he had reached the airport.
On the deck of the Twilight in Mysia, things were still bad.
"What''s wrong with you? Are you okay?" A woman who saw Le lying on the floor decided to help her.
She was driven by kindness.
Moreover, Le''s cute face had turned pale, and her eyes were filled with tears. Under the
circumstance, she could get anyone''s pity.
In spite of the tears, she replied to the woman, as if nothing had happened, "I am fine. She just hates
me too much. All this has happened because that man loves me. It turns out she can''t stand seeing my
happiness."
"How could you do this?!" the woman shouted at Sheryl since she couldn''t bear Le''s sadness. Pure
hatred was reflected on her face.
Sheryl stood there numbly since she was still unable toprehend what was happening. She stared
at the sea nkly, with only one thought repeating in her mind, ''I have to find and save Charles.''
The woman''s hatred didn''t hurt her. All she wanted to know about was Charles'' state of health. Nothing
else held any value.

Le knew that Sheryl was emotional, and her entire focus was on Charles. To her, this seemed like the
right opportunity to bully her. ''I will have to seize this chance to hurt Sheryl. There is no way she is
going to retort back, '' Le thought with smug satisfaction.
Although Le was also worried about Charles, her desire to hurt Sheryl was much stronger. Her mind
started to think of ways to defame Sheryl.
Le now looked back at thedy who was trying to help her. With a forced smile, she said, "I am doing
fine. Thanks."
The woman admired Le''s politeness. On the other hand, Sheryl''s silence repulsed her. After helping
Le up, she once again red at Sheryl. When she was about to speak, the police appeared in front
of them.
Le naturally restrained herself from speaking up, but the woman next to her pointed her finger at
Sheryl and angrily said to the police, "This woman was trying to hurt her."
"We will deal with that. But who are you?" The policeman frowned, looking at the rampant woman
unhappily.
After being questioned by the policeman, the woman suddenly lost her earlier vigor. It seemed like she
didn''t know what to say.
Since the woman didn''t reply, the policeman began to question the people standing nearby. It turned
out none of the people who had been at a distance had anything to say. In truth, everyone had only a
vague idea. ''Maybe the people near Sheryl must have seen something, '' he thought and decided to
continue his investigation.
After the police left, Le moved towards Sheryl.
She looked around and made sure nobody was looking at her. Once she was certain the view was
clear, she bent over and approached Sheryl.
The pained expression on Sheryl''s face made Le morecent.
She sneered and whispered in Sheryl''s ear, "Sheryl, you said you are the one who loves Charles, but
just look at this! What have you done to him? You probably killed him. Due to your selfishness, you
pushed a man into the sea. You are a cold-blooded murderer..."
Le spoke without taking a break or taking a breath. And every word prated into Sheryl''s heart.
In utter shock, Sheryl looked at Le. The truth was finally sinking in.
