Chapter 1777 Revisit The Sightseeing ces
"Le, why do you think so poorly of yourself? You are more capable than any other woman I know. If
anyone deserves my son, it''s you."
Melissa waved her hand happily and gestured for Le toe closer. She then continued to praise
Le.
As they were talking, they both looked at Charles, who had a nk look on his face. He was focused
on his meal.
Le felt embarrassed and smiled at Melissa. "Aunt Melissa, you know what is best."
Melissa understood what Le meant and smiled knowingly as she looked at her.

Le wasn''t really in the mood, but she still put on a smile for Melissa. Even though she didn''t say
anything, her eyes gave her away.
While they were having dinner, Melissa purposely coughed a lot. At the start, Charles didn''t pay much
attention to it. However, when the coughing had worsened, he started to worry. He put down his eating
utensils and looked at his mother with concern. "Mother, what''s wrong with you? Are you okay?"
"I''m fine. I just ate too fast. We have to hurry up. I need to get my stuff ready after dinner." Melissa
looked at Charles, and her face was pale.
She seemed to be in pain. Charles couldn''t help but worry. Suddenly, Le stood up and approached
Melissa, rubbing her back. "Aunt Melissa, take your time. Just eat. I''m already done. I can prepare your
stuff for you."
Melissa raised her head and nced at Le in relief. Le was so considerate. She grabbed her hand
to thank her. "Thanks so much, Le. This is a big help."
"Aunt Melissa, you''re always wee." After that, Le went upstairs.
Melissa turned to Charles when she was sure that Le was already in her bedroom. However, she
noticed that Charles didn''t care or even seem to notice what had just happened.
She coughed as she said, "Le''s such a nice girl. Charles, did you ever think about asking her out?
You''re just wasting your time with Sheryl. It''s a dead end, honey. Just let it go."
"Mother, can we talk about this after wee back from our trip?" A sh of annoyance appeared in
Charles'' eyes, but it was gone as soon as it came, and Melissa didn''t even notice.
Melissa decided to let it go. They finished dinner quickly.
"Mother, I''m going to pack my things now too." Charles smiled at Melissa and then went upstairs.
Melissa looked at Charles'' back as if lost in thought. After a while, she headed upstairs as well.
Meanwhile, Le was almost done. Melissa was d for her help.
So she said, "Le, why don''t you rest now? Thank you so much for helping me pack. I just need to
add a few more things in the morning."
Le smiled back. "Aunt Melissa, we don''t know what the weather is going to be in Mysia. So you
need to be prepared, okay?"
She reminded Melissa to be careful in Mysia, so she wouldn''t get into any trouble.
Melissa sat on the foot of her bed and waved her hand, inviting Le to sit next to her. "Le,e
here..."
"What''s the matter, Aunt Melissa?" It appeared that Melissa wanted to tell her something, and Le
couldn''t help but feel confused.
Melissa didn''t say anything more. Instead, she gestured for Le to lean towards her. Then she
whispered to Le''s ear. After this, a joyful expression could be seen on Le''s face. Soon, Le was
nodding excitedly.
"Look at you. You''re so happy. Don''t worry. I promise to support you, but you need to do something
soon," Melissa said to Le seriously.
Le was so d to hear this that she didn''t know how to respond.
Upon seeing the look on Le''s face, Melissa couldn''t help but feel the same joy too. She realized how
loyal Le really was to Charles, and this was how she was sure that she had made the right decision.
When Le left Melissa''s bedroom, she didn''t go to her room right away. After a momentary pause, she
decided to head to Charles'' room instead.
When she arrived at his door, she took a deep breath before knocking on his door.
"Come in!"
Charles was packing his things when he heard the knock. Without raising his head, he let whoever it
wase in.
He had assumed it was Nancy since he''d figured Melissa was already asleep by this time.
"Charles, have you finished? Do you need some help?" Le asked Charles in a sweet voice.
She looked at him expectantly.
Upon hearing Le''s voice, Charles frowned. He turned to look at her and casually shook his head.
"No."
Charles didn''t look okay, and his tone was distant. He was obviously unhappy with Le barging into
his room.
Le was hurt by Charles'' cold response. She just wanted to help him, but he was treating her coldly.
She lowered her head, feeling upset.
She was unable to say anything else, but she couldn''t get herself to move and leave Charles'' room.
Suddenly, he turned, only to find her still standing there. He didn''t feel sorry for her. Instead, he just felt
more irritated.
"If there is nothing else, you can just leave." Charles continued to pack his things and ignored Le, not
even giving her a chance to speak.
She didn''t know what to do, and helplessly left Charles'' room.
Le tossed and turned in her bed all night, unable to sleep. She was looking forward to the next day.
She and Melissa had a n, and she truly believed it was going to work. Soon, Charles would be hers.
The next day
Early in the morning, Nancy prepared breakfast for Charles and Melissa, because they were heading to
the airport. They were in a hurry.
Le had nothing to do, but she got up early too. When they had finished their breakfast, she insisted
oning along with Charles and Melissa to the airport, so she could see them off.
Even though Charles thought it was unnecessary, Melissa insisted, so he had no choice but to give in.
As they drove to the airport, Melissa and Le happily chatted with each other.
Meanwhile, Charles was busy giving David orders. A lot was going on at work, and he was going to be
away for a week. He couldn''t help but worry.
When they arrived at the airport, Charles was unpacking his things. He turned to look at Melissa, only
to find her looking a bit unwell. He asked in concern, "Mother, are you okay? How are you feeling?"
Melissa smiled weakly as she responded, "No, I''m fine. I''m only a bit emotional because we''re going to
revisit the sightseeing ces in Mysia. Don''t mind me; I just didn''t sleep wellst night."
"Really?" Charles asked doubtfully since he knew Melissa wasn''t an emotional person at all.
"Yeah, that''s all there is to it," Melissa said defensively.
