Chapter 1752 A Fight

    Chapter 1752 A Fight

Although Jason got paid for being hit, it was still quite a taxing job. After all, he was left with bruises all

over his body. The pain was real, and nothing, even money, mattered more than his health and safety.

Jason had started to realize the demerits of the job he had taken up.

"Shut the fuck up, Jason. This is thest time I am warning you. If you dare to bother Holley ever again,

I swear I will break your leg," ck stormed pointing towards Jason''s legs.

ck gave another hard-hitting kick into Jason''s stomach, without even giving him time to react.

Jason stooped down holding his stomach, enduring whatever wasing at him.

After a few blows, ck finally stopped. He asked Jason condescendingly, "Do you hear me?"

ck waited for Jason to answer him. But Jason just lowered his head without responding to him. He

ignored ck''s question, which irritated ck all the more. He lifted his hand in the air, wanting to hit

    Jason again.

"I know, I know. Stop hitting me," Jason coughed out the words, closing his eyes to endure the pain.

This time, it was much more painfulpared to thest time. Jason felt excruciating pain in his ribs as

if they were broken. He couldn''t take more blows from ck. Therefore, he answered ck.

"You''d better keep your word. Otherwise, you will end up getting hospitalized again next time. I am

being gentle with you this time."

ck hit a final blow on the top of Jason''s head before he turned around and left.

There was a moment when ck wanted to kill Jason. But then he managed to resist his killer''s

instinct. He acted rationally and calmed himself down. ck realized Jason must have a powerful

background too. Otherwise, Holley wouldn''t choose Jason over him. Aside from Jason''s background,

ck knew clearly that Rex wouldn''t be supportive of what he did.

Besides, ck was not so powerful himself to actually beat Jason down. All he could do at the moment

was to warn Jason, hoping that he would learn a lesson and stop bothering Holley.

After he let go of Jason, ck sat in his car, clenching the steering wheel in his hands. He was so

furious that his whole body was shaking. Although he let Jason off the hook this time, he knew that the

matter was notpletely sorted yet. He realized as long as Jason was alive, he and Holley couldn''t

live in peace. He heaved a sigh and zoomed off in his car.

Jason slowly stood up after ck had left. He stretched his body straight and held his head high. A

smile appeared on Jason''s face, and suddenly, he seemed to be in high spirits, pletely different

from what he was just a while ago.

He pointed his fingers at the ce where ck was standing a few moments ago. He raised his voice

and yelled, "You are such a loser, ck! You can''t even make your woman stay. The woman you love

so much is marrying me! You achieved nothing!"

Jason wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth. He then turned around and looked at the young

    through him.

She smiled at him in embarrassment, "Sir, if you already have a girlfriend, then would you mind

leaving? You are just causing a scene."

The youngdy was annoyed by Jason and the violence that was created in front of her in the bar

because of him. Hence, she turned to leave.

Jason sneered at her. "Don''t be so snarky. I…"

"Sorry. I have somewhere else to be. Just go away,"

the youngdy interrupted Jason. Then she proceeded to leave the bar, and Jason was left behind.

People nowadays were so snobbish. Jason had learned this long ago. He looked at the back of the

youngdy and smiled coldly. Then he murmured, "One day when I be rich, I won''t even take a

nce at you, even if you kneel in front of me and beg."

Jason then limped his way out of the noisy bar. The people surrounding Jason were still standing there.

Some of them even pointed their fingers at Jason and made remarks about him.

"Go away, you guys! Haven''t you ever seen people fighting?!" Jason was pissed off looking at the

    Property ? N?velDrama.Org.

crowd''s reaction and yelled at them.

The people, of course, didn''t want to get themselves into any trouble. They could tell Jason''s

embarrassment had turned into anger. So they dispersed quickly.

After watching them turn back to their drinking, Jason left.

ck had ruined Jason''s day. He didn''t feel like staying in the bar anymore. Having been rejected by a

youngdy and hit by ck, Jason limped out of the bar in frustration and headed towards his house.

On his way home, he felt like his face was burning. He touched his painfully swollen cheek tenderly and

quivered. He would never forget what ck had done to him, and he swore that all of it would be

returned to him tenfold. Jason didn''t care whose son ck was at all. He would have fought back long

ago if Ferry didn''t warn him.

Jason had followed Ferry''s instructions. Although Jason was weaker than ck, and he didn''te

from a powerful background like ck did, he had nothing to lose. And that was exactly what mattered

the most. People were usually at their boldest when they had little to lose. Therefore, Jason had

nothing to fear either, even if he fought with ck. But clearly, ck had gained the upper hand at the

    moment.

Having said that, Jason was pretty happy that he was going to marry the woman ck loved most. At

least, he could beat ck down at this.

When he got home, Jason received a call from Ferry, which almost freaked him out. He picked up the

phone immediately and said obediently, "Boss, what''s wrong?"

"What? Can''t I call you for nothing?" On the other end of the line, Ferry sounded a little disappointed.

"Of course, you can. Sorry, that''s not what I meant…" Jason exined immediately.

"Alright, stop it now. I heard that ck hit you again today?" Ferry teased Jason.

Hearing the hint of mockery in Ferry''s words, Jason was a little irked. But he dared not to express his

anger because he could tell from Ferry''s tone of voice that he was disappointed and annoyed.

"Boss, don''t make fun of me. I listened to you and did what you asked me to do," Jason anxiously

exined to Ferry, afraid that Ferry mightsh out at him and abandon him. If that was the case, he

wouldn''t be able to marry Holley.

"I bet you did. You are going to marry Holley the day after tomorrow. Don''t get yourself into any trouble

over the next few days, you idiot!" Ferry took a sip of wine before he reminded, or rather, threatened

    Jason.

"Sure, you can rest assured, Boss. I will keep a close eye on Holley and make sure she won''t get us

into any trouble," Jason promised Ferry confidently.

Ferry didn''t have much to do, so he had called Jason to see how he was doing. When he got the

answer he wanted, he hung up.

After he hung up on Jason, Ferry turned his head around and smiled at a woman sitting next to him. He

said, "Remember the woman I dumped earlier? I finally found someone to marry her. You don''t have to

    worry anymore!"

"Boss, really?" The woman, sitting next to Ferry, eximed as her eyes lit up.

Ferry nodded at her and pulled her into his arms, saying, "Why would I lie to you?"
