Chapter 1704 Helping you
"Aren''t you leaving? Don''t you feel ashamed?" When Holley saw ck still standing in the doorway,
she became impatient.
Her frown, in turn, left ck utterly frustrated.
When ck had walked in and seen his beloved woman in the arms of another man, he had felt his
heart break into a million pieces. This pushed ck over the edge. Everything had been driving him
crazy. Now, he had caught Holley being intimate with another man right in front of him. ck couldn''t
bear the pain in his chest.
ck''s feelings for Holley made him want to attack the man. In mere seconds, the violent impulse was
beginning to take over. ck wanted nothing more than to beat the man to death.
With a lifted fist, he rushed toward the strange man.
As ck''s hand was about to meet the man''s neck, Holley stretched out her hands and held ck''s
still-closed fist.
"What are you doing?" Holley furiously red at ck.
ck felt defeated. All the sadness and desperation he felt showed clearly on his face.
The hurt expression on his face devastated Holley as well, but she didn''t show it. She continued, "If
you''re a real man, you''ll go now. You''re just embarrassing all of us."
This sentence made ck freeze.
Slowly, he softly lowered the fist which Holley had been blocking. His arms hung at his sides in defeat.
He stopped moving toward Holley and the strange man in the hotel room, and stared at Holley mutely.
For a while, she looked like a stranger, like he''d never seen her before. ck wondered if this was in
fact the woman he had fallen in love with.
In the past, Holley had been so nice and so kind that ck had fallen head over heels in love with her.
This is from N?velDrama.Org.
For some reason, everything had changed. ck had no idea how this happened. He couldn''t wrap his
head around the why and how of Holley''s sudden change, either.
As ck thought things through, he slowly stepped back and made his way out. He didn''t say another
word to Holley and the man.
Holley watched ck disappear at the end of the fifth-floor corridor. Feeling drained, she slumped
down on the floor.
The man in the room with her was unbothered by the exchange. In fact, he was happy now that ck
had gone. He squinted at Holley, gently squeezed her chin, and said in a yful tone, "Holley, he has
gone now. Shall we continue?"
"Get out!" Holley yelled. Tears filled her eyes. She wanted the man to leave.
The man, however, had other intentions. He walked over to the door and locked it. Holley, emotional
from the whole thing with ck, failed to notice that the man had locked her in the room with him. He
pulled the startled Holley up and dragged her onto the bed.
"Let me go!"
Holley screamed and fought with all her might, but the man was much stronger than she was.
Soon, the man had stripped Holley of all her clothes. Holleyy on the bed, humiliated, desperate, and
helpless. When she realized there was nothing she could do, she gave up. She closed her eyes and let
the man have his way with her.
Meanwhile, ck had run out of the hotel. He didn''t drive. He aimlessly wandered the streets instead,
as if he had lost his mind.
Rex, who had been around the whole time, silently followed ck. However, he was careful not to walk
too close or to make his presence known. He knew his son well. If ck knew that Rex was following
him, he would be furious.
Rex was relieved when ck, after wandering around the streets for hours, finally made his way back
home.
Because ck was able to make it home safely, Rex thought that nothing special had happened in the
hotel. He told himself he had nothing to worry about.
Of course, Rex was unaware that ck had been so hurt and saddened by what had happened that he
couldn''t think clearly.
ck went straight into his room and closed the door. He threw his body onto the bed. He fell on it like
a rag-doll. When he closed his eyes, his mind reyed the event from the hotel. When he opened his
eyes, he looked sadly up at the ceiling and heard again the way that Holley had mocked him. He didn''t
know what to do.
Thest time he had seen Holley and Ferry, he had found a reason tofort himself and to convince
himself that nothing was wrong. This time, he had no excuse for Holley.
"Aahhhhhh!!!!!" ck was unable to control his anger. His emotions escaped his lips in the form of a
scream.
Rex, who was by then fast asleep, awoke to the frightening sound.
He immediately recognized ck''s voice, and the realization dawned on him that ck had been
keeping his emotions at bay earlier that night.
Rex ran toward ck''s bedroom and stopped in front of it. He didn''t go in. He called ck''s name, but
there was no response. Without an excuse to go into his son''s room and not wanting to remind him of
his sorrows, Rex decided not to go in.
He thought about what to do and then called on one of his men. He gave the man an important order.
"I want you to investigate what had happened at the hotel today. Go at once!"
Rex was fuming. ck''s behavior had suggested the gravity of whatever had transpired in that hotel
room. Whatever it had been, the people responsible for his son''s current state wouldn''t get away with it
that easily.
"Yes, Sir. I''ll get right on it!"
After the man left, Rex let out a helpless sigh. He saw that everything was quiet now, so he went back
to his room.
Rex looked at the time. It was midnight. He knew ck would soon calm down, so he went back to
sleep.
The next morning, Holley woke up and found herself still in the hotel.
Immediately, she recalled what had happened the previous night. She realized it wasn''t a dream.
She turned her head and saw the man lying next to her.
The man was still fast asleep, but Holley was now awake. She carefully got out of bed, wanting nothing
more than to just leave.
Holley didn''t want to spend another second with this man. If she hadn''t been so emotionally and
physically exhausted the night before, she would have left immediately.
She haphazardly put on her clothes and tried to cover even her face and neck. Then she made her way
down to the first floor, exited the hotel, and hailed a cab. She felt some semnce of relief only when
the driver started driving away from the hotel.
Her ce wasn''t too far, and she soon arrived home.
Holley wasted no time and took a shower right away. She wanted to get rid of that man''s scent. After
washing for what seemed like an hour, she could still smell him on her. The hickeys were even more
difficult to remove.
She began trembling in the shower. She couldn''t get rid of the marks on her skin no matter how hard
she tried. Holley couldn''t help but cry on the floor.
Then, her phone rang. Holley felt numb. She wanted to ignore the ringing, but the phone rang and
rang. Upset, she went out of the shower, wrapped herself in a towel, and picked up the phone.
Upon seeing that it was Ferry, Holley answered and shouted, "What''s the matter with you! I have
behaved just like you ordered me to. I''ve done everything you wanted me to do! How could you do that
to me?"
The moment Ferry heard Holley screaming, he held his phone away from his ear. Now that her voice
sounded softer, he put the phone back against his ear and said, "Are you questioning me?"
"That man defiled me, upon your order!" Holley eximed as she gritted her teeth. Tears fell down her
cheeks. She knew she could never win against Ferry, but she couldn''t stand such an insult.
"I''m helping you. I don''t expect gratitude from you, but you shouldn''t…" Ferry said yfully and
patiently.
