Chapter 1702 Holley Begs
Typical of the self-centered girl that Holley was, she had only learned to take advantage of others. She
would never even have bothered if someone was dying right in front of her eyes. However, much to her
own surprise, she now found herself behaving so drastically opposite, and that for a man! So much so
that she was even ready to give up her life for him!
Ferry marked the weakness of her mind by reading her facial expression.
Indeed, it seemed that ck held a special ce in her life. This was evident from the bitter expression
on her face. She was a woman of dignity and pride. She would never beg anyone for anything. But
now, she went down to her knees and begged Ferry to pardon ck. Wasn''t that enough to confirm
Ferry''s assumption?
After giving it a moment''s thought, Ferry''s eyes lit up as an idea came to his mind. Yes! This was the
opportunity that he had been waiting for. The memories of pain, humiliation, and suffering that he had
undergone were still alive in his heart like it just happened the day before. Now, it was time to make
Holley have a taste of his suffering. ''Maybe it''s time to destroy her!'' he thought as an evil grin crept to
his lips.
Ferry cleared his mind before he rested his fingers on Holley''s cheeks. He ran them across her face
and then pinched her chin atst. He asked with a snort, "How do you feel? Hurt?"
"Please, let him go!" Holley pleaded with an imploring look. She didn''t resist his rude grip on her even

eyes.
Ferry did not utter a single word. His eyes were full of arrogance. To gain more pleasure out of the
situation, he tried to make Holley moan in distress. So he pinched her chin harder. Yet, she did not cry
out. She just wrinkled her brows more.
"Good! It''s not easy for you to beg. Today, since you swallowed your pride to beg in front of me, I
should be less tough with you!" Ferry''s mood livened up after enjoying the torture he had inflicted on
Holley.
"Really?" Holley was surprised to hear this.
Ferry''s attitude had changed so abruptly, that she could not help wondering at how this man''s brain
worked. ''Did he really mean what he had said? So easy?'' Holley hadn''t expected that Ferry would
agree to her so soon.
"Want me to be tough? Well, I am regretting…" Ferry''s face suddenly changed again, and a trace of
irritation crossed his eyes.
"No, please! I beg you to let go of ck! Truly I do!" Holley apologized at once.
"Well, but I have one condition! You have to book a room near your house for us. If you can serve me
well tonight, I will do as you asked!" Ferry smirked before he turned and left.
Holley stared back with a confused look until Ferry''s figure disappeared from her sight. She started to
regret having made a strange alliance with Ferry. He was so cunning and unreliable. She felt that she
had now lost her self-restraint and been cedpletely under his control. Still, she didn''t dare to
disobey such a despot. She quickly stood up and rushed out to do what Ferry had asked.
After booking a room, Holley immediately sent the information to Ferry without any further dy.
As the dark shadow of the night chased the dusk, the sun withdrew thest trace of its warmth from the
air. Everything outside began to quiet down. In silence, Holley stayed alone in the hotel room, waiting
for Ferry''s arrival. In her head, she hoped that the night could be as short as possible.
In Ferry''s vi
Ferry started to check his messages. Knowing that Holley had done exactly what he had told her, Ferry
let out a malicious smirk. Then he waved his hand and gestured for a bodyguard toe over. He
ordered, "Find a strong man, and then send him over to this ce!"
Having finished speaking, Ferry handed his phone to the guy and let him read the address closely.
With a knowing nod, the man shed back a wretched smile and then asked, "Boss, are you…"
"A man and a woman staying in the same room at night. What do you think will happen? You know
what I am nning for!" Ferry smiled, took back his phone and then crept up the stairs.
The bodyguard quickly fished his phone out from his pocket and dialed a number. It didn''t take him too
long to get everything arranged. Then he walked away to carry on with his duty.
Entering his room, Ferry felt ted. Holley had fallen into his trap, and there was only one step to
conclude for him to carry out his n. Wasting no time, he sent a message to ck, which revealed
Holley''s location.
ck was alone in his house, zing around and drinking leisurely in the dining hall.
He had always had faith in his rtionship with Holley. Even though Holley had be a little
indifferent and tried to avoid him since she had agreed to his marriage proposal, ck had never
questioned her loyalty towards him.
ck loved Holley so much that everything about her seemed to be just fine. He felt Holley had
deliberately avoided meeting him on several asions. Yet he kept telling himself to believe in her. He
kept convincing himself that she must have some reason behind her apparent aloofness. Sometimes
he got tired and angry with her lies, but he never lost his temper with her. Every time Holley''s behavior
pushed his tolerance to its limits, he just put up with it through the night.
As another lonely night found its way to ck once again, hepletely lost himself in his drinking!
Hard of heart, ck was aware of Rex having been informed of Holley''s affair with another man the
other night. And ck knew that Rex must be growing more worried for him. Now, he was a man who
had even failed to keep his own woman''s heart.
ck had trouble taking Holley back to his side. He had even nned to ask Rex for help, to send his
men and use violence! But he dropped that idea in the end. He didn''t have the nerve to disobey
Holley''s request. And he feared that Rex would have med Holley. Worst-case scenario, Holley would
have gotten angry and turned away from him forever.
"ck, why are you still awake at this hour?" Rex asked with concern, as he threw himself onto the
sofa. He''d juste back after meeting with an important client. While he unlocked the door and
walked into the dining room, he was taken aback to find ck still awake.
"Dad? Done with your work? Good to see you. I am fine. I just don''t feel sleepy," ck replied, with a
blurred voice.
Taking a closer look at ck for a moment, Rex furrowed his brows. At once, a wave of anger rose in
his heart, taking its course through his veins. When he shot the first nce at his son, Rex had already
got a faint idea that ck must be bothered with his emotional problem. As a father, his heart bled to
watch his son in that state. Even though ck was a grown-up adult, he was still dependent on Rex for
everything. He had to take care of everything for ck. He was aware that Ferry was not an easy man
to deal with. He felt so lucky that he hadn''t trusted ck to be able to handle that guy by himself. In
advance, Rex had thought out a n in his head, but he was waiting for the right time and then take
Ferry by surprise.
"Be a man! Why do you have to be so sad because of a woman?" Rex shot his son a disappointed look
and snorted.
ck ignored Rex''s remark. With a wry smile, he asked, "Dad, do you know what love is?"
"You bastard! What did you say?" Rex snarled. He was seething with rage as ck still wasn''t willing to
listen to reason.
After being rebuked by Rex, ck stopped talking to him. He looked as spiritless as a dead man.
Rex got even more furious as he watched ck''s gloomy face. He yelled in irritation, "You don''t
deserve to be my son! How have I raised a useless man like you?" Rex failed to contain his rage in the
end. In the heat of the moment, he said what had just crossed his mind.
ck didn''t get surprised at all by his father''s rebuke. He haughtily raised his ss, as he staggered
forward, toward his father. After a while, he paused, and his face changed into a stern one. He said, "I
knew it! I knew you never liked me. You have been ashamed because I am your son, haven''t you? And
finally, you find a chance to humiliate me. That''s why you disapproved of my wish to marry Holley. Do
you think that I don''t know what is going on in your head? But what a fate! I am your only son, and you
have no choice but to ept the truth!"
"You…" Rex''s voice quivered with anger. He hadn''t expected that ck would say such words to his
face. Unable to contain his anger, he raised his hand and pped his son on the back.
ck didn''t dodge. He took the p but seemed not to feel the pain. With his hand covering his face,
he wore a sarcastic smile on his face.
The moment Rex drew back his hand, his mind was filled with remorse. ck was his only son, and
Rex had doted on him since ck was born.
''What is going on with this bastard?'' Rex asked to himself.
"Dad, are you relieved now?" ck suddenly changed his sad expression and asked with a mild look.
Rex sank into confusion. He had no idea what ck was talking about. Clueless, he kept his gaze fixed
on ck blinking.
"Dad, I don''t deserve to be your son," ck continued his weird speech. Finishing his words, he
copsed onto the ground and started to sob. He dropped his head and buried it in his hands. He
started to weep loudly and painfully.
Rex was shocked to see ck in such a state. He quickly approached his son and then crouched down
in front of ck. With a softened sigh, heforted ck and pulled him into his arms. That was what
Rex had always done when ck was a young boy. Sometimeter, ck calmed down and ceased to
cry.
"Dad, I am sorry. I just can''t help it! I am not as childish as you think…I am fine. You should get some
rest!" ck forced a smile and refused to say more.
ck had said those words to provoke Rex on purpose. He felt so distressed by containing the
unpleasant feeling inside his heart that he needed to vent it out. He made Rex angry so that Rex could
abuse him to tears with some irritating words. As ck''s father, Rex finally realized it. Rex sank into
silence and patted ck''s back before he went upstairs.
Watching Rex go upstairs, ck staggered a few steps and slumped down on the sofa. Before he was
ready to continue his drinking, he noticed his phone vibrating. He fumbled in his pocket and took out his
phone. The screen indicated an anonymous message.
He immediately unlocked the screen and looked at the message. His first reaction was that it might be
some spam message. Still, he took a nce at the content. In less than a minute, his face had
changed visibly, and his pupils became exorbitantly dted.
"Mr. ck, is Holley your girlfriend? I heard she is on a date with someone in a hotel. Do you want to
have a look? I am d to tell you the exact ce where she will be headed!"
Every word was like a sharp-edged de to his eyes. Anger reced the tipsy feeling. Without
hesitation, he jumped to his feet and rushed out of his house.
