Chapter 1682 Stain

    Chapter 1682 Stain

Le''s words triggered I''s anger. Just now, in front of Charles, she looked like she had been

wronged. Now that Charles wasn''t present, was she going to show her true self?

Thinking of that, I pointed at Le and jeered, saying, "Aren''t you afraid that I''ll record how you''re

acting right now and send the video to Charles?"

"Do you really think that Charles would trust you? You''re only a friend of his ex-wife, so why would he

even talk to you?" Le wore a contemptuous look on her face.

Upon hearing that, I couldn''t help sneering to herself, and thinking, ''That''s quite funny. Charles and

Sheryl haven''t even divorced yet. So, why is this woman so sure that they''ll divorce? How can she

already refer to Sheryl as Charles'' ex-wife?''

The more she thought about it, the more infuriated she became. When her fury was about to burst out,

she raised her hand and pped Le on her face.

Le didn''t expect to be struck. For a moment, she was stunned; her eyes filled with disbelief. She

raised her hand to fight back, but I grabbed her hand.

"Do you want to try and fight back?" I sneered.

    Le''s eyes widened in fear.

I knew that Le wouldn''t dare do anything to her, so she continued, "Just take a look at yourself.

Even after Charles divorces Sheryl, do you really believe that he will choose to marry you?"

"How do you know he wouldn''t want to marry me?" Le shot back.

She could feel her face burning. Even as she spoke, she could feel the pain. Le knew she couldn''t

win against this woman in a physical fight. The only way to fight back was through words.

"I can say for sure that he wouldn''t!" I''s eyes were brimming with contempt. She even leaned

forward to put her face in Le''s as she said that.

I''s sudden action pressured Le, making it hard for her to breathe. Le wanted to get rid of I,

but I tightened her grip on Le''s wrist, and she pressed even closer to her.

"Let me go. If you don''t, I''ll call the security guard!" Le eximed in irritation.

"Ha-ha, Le, do you think they''ll really do anything to me? They''re men, and won''t hit a woman. I''m

not bothering you anyway. You can''t prove that I am, and no one is going to help you!" I was amused

by Le''s words. "Do you want to tell others that I was sexually harassing you?"

I burst into a loud peal ofughter.

Cassie was standing aside, watching the two of them as they fought. Afraid that Le would get

hysterical and do something crazy, she went up to them and pulled I''s arm away. "I, let''s just go

    now."

    This is from N?velDrama.Org.

"All right. I''ll let you go today, Le. I advise you to be more kind-hearted in the future, or else karma

will get you!" After she gave Le that warning, she pushed Le''s shoulder hard enough to make her

    fall to the ground.

After Cassie and I left, Le slowly stood back up.

She hade to mess with I, but in the end, she was the one who lost. Feeling agitated, she took

out her phone and called Holley.

"Do you know anyone who can do questionable things for money?" Le asked immediately.

Holley hesitated for a few seconds before she answered by asking, "Why?"

"Do you know someone, or not?" Le asked again in hurry.

Nodding her head, Holley answered, "Yes, I do. What is it that you want?"

"I want a woman to be beaten up. I can pay 100, 000 for it to be done!" Le eximed as she gritted

    her teeth in fury.

Even though Le had been jailed before, she had never been treated like that by anyone before. She

wouldn''t let it go so easily.

"Okay. I''ll give you a number, and you can contact him yourself." Holley didn''t want to get involved in

the situation, so she decided to give Le the contact and let her arrange it on her own.

Le could hear that Holley didn''t want to bear any responsibility for it. In her heart, she castigated

Holley for being a coward but didn''t say anything to her about it.

After getting the number, Le hastily dialed it. The deal was quickly set with the man.

When everything was arranged, Le heaved a sigh of relief.

"I, let''s just see who wins this time!" she eximed aloud.

Feeling satisfied, Le left the hospital.

I and Cassie gave Sheryl a call and found that she was also near the hospital.

When they met with Sheryl, they told her what had happened in the hospital. Worried, Sheryl asked,

    "Are you two okay?"

"Do you really think that I can''t handle Melissa and Le?" I questioned back, feigning a displeased

    look on her face.

Sheryl didn''t know how she should answer. Despite the fact that I was good at arguing with others,

she had to fight against three people in that situation. She was worried that I would get bullied. Once

she left the hospital, she regretted not staying with I. Just now she actually decided to turn back

when she got the call from I. It seemed that everything was fine now, and Sheryl felt more assured.

"You''re awesome!" Sheryl beamed at I to stop her from hassling her further.

"Sher, are you really going to have the divorce? Is there really no turning back?" Cassie asked Sheryl

    with a frown.

To Cassie, Sheryl seemed to be a perfect match to Charles. They matched each other in terms of

social status, capabilities, personalities, and even appearance. It was shocking that they were going to

    have a divorce.

"Do you think that Sher really wants the divorce? If not for F-"

"All right, I. It''s because of Le!" When I was about to say Ferry''s name, Sheryl cut her off.

After making sure that I shut her mouth, Sheryl continued to exin things to Cassie, "I don''t want

any strain between me and Charles. That''s why I want the divorce. Don''t worry, though. I''m fine!"

I realized that Sheryl didn''t want anyone to know that she was being threatened by Ferry.

She felt that Sheryl shouldn''t have to bear all that heartache on her own. If Charles did love Sheryl,

    why couldn''t he protect her?

At that thought, I furrowed her eyebrows as she said, "Cassie, when are you meeting with Nick?"

After taking a look at her watch, Cassie suddenly sprang up.

"Oh no! I''m going to bete! I forgot the time, and I have to go now!" Cassie eximed in a hurry.

Sheryl and I nodded, signaling to her that they understood that she had to leave.

Cassie then rushed out of the cafe.

Now that there were only two of them, I gazed at Sheryl and spoke in a serious tone, saying, "I think

you should tell Charles the truth."
