Chapter 1673 Sheryl Got Framed

    Chapter 1673 Sheryl Got Framed

Listening to Sheryl''s story, Nick decided not to tell Charles what Le had done. But you gave Le an

inch, and she would take a mile. Le was the one who had made a mistake. And yet, she acted like

she was the one who had suffered, ining about Sheryl in front of Charles, and irritating Nick.

''What''s wrong with people nowadays?'' Nick thought to himself.

Seeing Nick''s disappointment, Sheryl grabbed his arms. Shaking her head, she sighed in frustration.

"Do you think it will help if I tell Charles the truth?"

However, Sheryl understood that telling Charles the truth right now would do her no good. What was

worse, Le might take advantage of this, iming that Sheryl was just putting the me on the victim.

Back in the ward just now, Sheryl had realized that Charles didn''t trust her anymore. And she dared not

to take the risk. She was afraid that Charles wouldn''t believe her, and being suspected again was the

"So you just let Le do whatever she wants? Although Charles is a little suspicious about you, that

doesn''t mean that he wouldn''t believe you about other things. As long as you tell him the truth, and let

him know what Le has done, you can win back his trust!" Nick understood what Sheryl meant, but

seeing Le get the upper hand was annoying.

Listening to Nick''s advice, Sheryl felt much better.

Nick was right. The reason why Charles was suspicious of her was because all the evidence was

against her. But if Charles found out what Le had done, he could see her true colors and would

reconsider whether Le was trustworthy and re-evaluate her words.

Sheryl smiled. It seemed that she could make a breakthrough in her deadlock. But then, she thought

    about Ferry.

Even if Sheryl could debunk Le and makeup with Charles, so what? As long as Ferry was still out

there to threaten her, Sheryl''s problems would never end. It was a vicious circle.

If Ferry sent those pictures to Charles, no matter how much Charles trusted Sheryl, there would be a

wedge between them. Things would never be the same once Charles saw those pictures, and they

could never go back to those good old days.

So, why didn''t they just split and divorce once and for all? There was no need to make a huge scene

    and fight with each other.

And even if Ferry didn''t have those pictures, he could always find another way to torture Sheryl and

force her to listen to him or force her to do his bidding. Thinking about this, Sheryl could barely catch

    her breath.

"Uh-huh, I know. Thank you for your advice, Nick. Well, I should go now. You should go and pick

Cassie up," Sheryl told Nick. She didn''t want him to be worried about her anymore.

Seeing that Sheryl had made up her mind, Nick got out of the car, shaking his head. Before he left, he

    reminded Sheryl to drive slowly.

"I am not a child. I know how to drive safely. You keep your eyes on the road too. Be the bigger man

and make up with Cassie," Sheryl shouted at Nick''s back.

Nick turned around and smiled back at Sheryl before he walked away.

Sheryl then drove back home directly.

On the other hand, Nick went to the café where Cassie was waiting.

When Nick arrived, Cassie was lost in thought. He tiptoed towards Cassie and patted on her shoulder,

    startling her.This is from N?velDrama.Org.

"You scared me!" Cassie eximed, pretending that she was angry at him. Crossing her arms over her

chest, Cassie took a deep breath.

Nick burst intoughter and pulled Cassie into his arms.

"Cassie, you know what, I bumped into Sher just now. She is being framed by Melissa and Le, and

Charles doesn''t believe her. Sher was crying her heart out. At that moment, I realized that the luckiest,

and happiest thing in the world is to be with someone that we love. Let''s stop fighting and treasure our

rtionship, okay? From now on, I will always listen to you and will never ever upset you again. Let''s

stop fighting over silly things, okay?" Nick said sincerely, looking into Cassie''s eyes.

As Sheryl had reminded Nick, he had also realized his mistakes.

"Sure. Nick, I am sorry too. I know I can be too self-centered sometimes. I will try to be more

considerate in the future." Being moved by Nick, Cassie apologized too.

Cassie and Nick discussed with each other whether they should step in and help Sheryl. And they

decided to stay out of it.

"I know Sher very well. We''d better leave her alone on this. A rtionship is very personal. I am afraid

that if we step in, it would only make things worse," Nick told Cassie after he gave it some thought.

Cassie nodded at Nick in agreement.

"But we can pay more attention to Sher. What about visiting her every day, Nick? In that case, she will

have someone to share her problems with. We should let her know that she is not alone, and we will

always be there to support her," Cassie suggested.

Nick nodded. They were just about to leave, after finishing their coffee, when they saw Jordan.

Cassie hid behind Nick instinctively. Although she had cut ties with him long ago, she could still

remember how Jordan stalked and bothered her. Every time Cassie saw Jordan, she tried to keep her

distance to avoid bumping into him.

"It''s ok. I am here," Nickforted Cassie.

Jordan was with another woman. Cassie had seen her in the hospital before. They walked past the

café together, and Jordan didn''t seem to notice them.

"Wait for me!" Jordan yelled at Annie and quickened his pace.

Annie crossed her arms, rolling her eyes at Jordan. Sheined, "Didn''t you just eat something?

You''re so weak. I should have called my driver!"

Annie walked away after she finished speaking, not caring whether Jordan had caught up with her.

Nick and Cassie exchanged confused gazes.

Why would Jordan end up like this? Was it because of money? Did Jordan give up his dignity just

    because of money?

Suddenly, Cassie felt sorry for Jordan. When she bumped into them in the hospitalst time, Cassie

wouldn''t believe that Jordan would be with this woman because of money, if it wasn''t Cora who told

her. And what happened today convinced Cassie that it was true.

"Alright, let''s go." Nick''s voice interrupted Cassie''s thoughts. "Jordan made his own choice. We need to

respect that." Seeing through Cassie, all Nick could do wasfort her.

    "Uh-huh." Speechless, Cassie nodded.

Nick put his hand around Cassie''s waist and the two of them walked away. They didn''t see Jordan

hiding around a corner, ring at their backs, his eyes filled with fire.

''Why should I be at this woman''s disposal, while you two get to enjoy your happy and sweet life?''

Jordan thought that it was too unfair.

"Why are you still standing there? Are you trying to make me drive?" Annie yelled at Jordan angrily,

finding that he was still standing around when she turned to him.

"Coming," Jordan answered immediately, beaming a smile at Annie.

Jordan and Annie then drove away.

Nick and Cassie didn''t go back home. Instead, they decided to pay Sheryl a visit.

Sheryl had just got home. So she was confused when she heard someone was at her door. ''It isn''t time

for Joan and the kids toe home yet. Who could it be?'' Sheryl wondered.

Without thinking too much, Sheryl opened the door.

To her surprise, she found Nick and Cassie standing at her doorstep.
