A massive blob of dark energy gathered around ck’s war hammer and made their way into the thick earthen spikes.
With the corrosive nature of the dark energybined with the near unbreakable toughness of earth energy, ck’s attack was powerful enough to dissolve and prate the strongest of armors.
Not many Hegemons had the ability to withstand a direct hit from this attack!
“ckened Death Spikes!” ck roared and swung his war hammer down towards Elliot.
A few meters away from him, Yellow had also unleashed her own high level skill. One scimitar glowed green and the other glowed orange.
She was swinging them ambidextrously and each scimitar was releasing a unique skill that was not dissimr to Elliot’s Sword Technique!
The green scimitar had agitated the wood energy within nature was caused them to turn highly poisonous. A single sh by that scimitar would instantly cause Hegemons to stiffen and die.
The orange scimitar had agitated the fire energy within nature and caused them to be iparably hot. A single sh by it would definitely turn anything it touched into ash!
Behind them, White had also raised her hand and a rapid-fire barrage of ck Lightning Paralysis wasnding on Elliot constantly at a rate of at least a hundred per second!
All three Hegemons were holding nothing back in their attacks!
BOOM! WHAM! SLASH! SLASH!
Their attacksnded on Elliot with devastating power.
But for all their efforts, the only response they managed to elicit from Elliot was merely…
“Huh?” Elliot couldn’t help but make a confused sound. “Are you guys really Hegemons? Why are your attacks so weak?”
Elliot stood motionless in the air with Gilgamar held loosely in his right hand.
He had turnedpletely into a ferociously handsome humanoid red dragon with bright red scales tinged with ck.
There wasn’t a single trace of their previous attacks on his body.
He waspletely unharmed.
If all three Hegemons weren’t so shocked at dealing no damage at all after unleashing their most powerful attacks, they would have definitely vomited blood after hearing his response!
“Impossible!!” ck shouted, his eyes opened wide in utter disbelief. “What are you? Are you an Ancient pretending to be a King? No Hegemon in this universe can bepletely unharmed after ourbo!”
Although ck was making a high sounding statement, he was not making them baselessly.
In the path towards absolute strength, most warriors had the option to choose between two methods of fighting. Going full elemental and fighting from a distance, or imbuing their physical attacks with elemental damage.
Due to the strenuous requirements of each method, most warriors were able to choose one method.
There were positives and negatives with each choice.
To go full elemental and fight from a distance by wielding the power of their chosen elements and flinging them towards their enemies, one had to have exceptional quantity, quality and mastery in terms of elemental energy.
If a warrior decided to go full elemental and any of the above mention three qualities werecking, they would be severely limited in their effectiveness and strength.
Despite the risks, this way was still rather popr as one would be able to avoid deadly closebat fighting where a single tiny mistake could be fatal.
In the utterly massive known universe with trillions upon trillions of life forms, there were nock of warriors and nock of geniuses.
Even with the very low rate of sess, there were still millions of warriors who had trained up their ranged elemental attacks to a very high level.
The other way was to infuse their elemental energy into a suitable weapon, and borrow its exceptional qualities to deal an amount of damage which they wouldn’t otherwise be able to.
With a powerful weapon, those warriors who werecking in quantity, quality or mastery, would be able to deal just as much damage as those geniuses who chose to go full elemental.
However, there was yet another subset of warriors within the two groups who weren’t satisfied with merely being a powerful genius.
These were the ones who chose both methods. These were the ones who thought, “Why choose at all?”
Tyrius, Gilgamar’s previous owner, was one such person.
He had mastered the art of closebat with a sword, as well as trained up his elemental power to an extremely high degree.
These types of warriors were the most fearsome. They were usually geniuses among geniuses, the pride and joy of their ns and respective powers, and they usually took on the heaviest and most crucial responsibilities.
Responsibilities like capturing critically important resources for their organizations.
ck, Yellow and White were exactly that type of genius.
With their exceptional mastery over dual elements, as well as a solid 100 thousand River of Runes as their foundation, they were the most dependable force that their organization had.
With hundreds of sessful missions under their collective belts, the three of them had trained up their cooperation to a smooth and highly effectivebo.
ck and Yellow’s earthen spheres as well as fiery vines would distract and slow down their enemies while White prepared the powerful ck Lightning Paralysis which would freeze their enemies long enough for the trio to do anything they wanted.
For them to be sopletely ineffective was definitely a shocking first!
“Ancient? I wouldn’t be wasting time talking to all of you if I am an Ancient. But… was that truly your most powerful attackbo? Do you want to try and attack me one more time? But this time, please make sure to give it your all.” Elliot offered generously.
White, ck and Yellow all stared at Elliot with stunned expressions that were very slowly but very surely turning into expressions of fear.
Their previous attackbo had truly been one of their most powerfulbos. Even though they had a few more tricks hidden up their sleeves, those tricks would meanpletely nothing if their previous attacks dealt no damage at all.
