Jessica dropped the dead Five-Winged Thunderbird from the clutches of her fiery right hand and focused on the images.

“Damn the nosy aliens! Now the whole world knows about my secret sponsor!” Jessica cursed. She had been more and more liberal with curse words now that she was all alone and fighting powerful beasts endlessly.
Although the alien said that killing four hundred fifty four beasts was “modest”, only God knew just how much effort she had put in to do so.
Still, her efforts were not for nothing. She had reached an impressive level two hundred and seven, and had attracted the attention of an Adamantium Sponsor who had given her a surprising boon.
A pleasant surprise, of course.
A resource box had appeared very suddenly and mysteriously from a powerful beam of light mere hours ago. She had opened it and only found two ck pills, with an information pad next to it containing a brief description of the pills.
“Crazy Monk “Zero” of the Eight Heavens extends his greetings. Zero is extremely impressed with you, and would like to sponsor you with a couple of unique Adamantium Grade boons.
The first boon is called “Goddess of the Dark”.
This boon would upgrade your Grade S Phoenix System into a Grade SS Phoenix Goddess System. It will not disrupt your current System Level Up progress, and will instead expand the Level Up mission to factor in the additional “Goddess of the Dark” aspect.

Of course Jessica popped both pills into her mouth and swallowed them. Both boons were awesome, and would instantly catapult her into contention for the strongest yer status of Earth! And when that happens, she would be able to save Jennifer and help her brother do whatever needs to be done.
However, gaining such power was not without cost. The transformation turned out to be insanely painful!
After almost a full thirty minutes of excruciating pain which almost caused her to pass out in a dead faint, she had opened her eyes as a brand new person.
“Show me my status.” Jessica had whispered.
