He wasn''t certain if she was dead, so he tore off a portion of his aura and infused it into the small

"If it were the middle of summer, we probably would have vanished under the sun." Cloud nced
down at the wisp of bad aura in his hand. "Don''t you think we''re incredibly lucky?"

Cloud fell silent and then added, "I''m afraid I''ll lose you again..."
He waspletely clueless about how he made it out of that ck pond and ended up in the Human
Realm from the evil eye in the Underworld.
As he contemted this treacherous journey, he believed that Nephele might have fallen into the ck
pond if he hadn''t held on so tightly.
Cloud pondered for a moment and muttered to himself, "Can I tie you up... and wear you around my
neck?"
Ghosts didn''t mind having their heads detached, so tying her up with a rope shouldn''t be an issue.
The main problem was that he had lost his storage ring; otherwise, he could have tried putting her into
the ring.
As he looked around, there was nothing but soil in the surroundings, not a single de of grass, let
alone a rope.
Fortunately, Cloud''s mind was flexible enough. He separated a strand of long aura from himself and
threaded it through the cluster before satisfactorily hanging it around his neck.
Since his chest had been corroded into arge hole, he simply stuffed the hanging cluster of bad aura
into the gap for added protection.
Cloud waited until it was dark before cautiously venturing out. The surroundings were eerily quiet, with
no birds or other ghosts in sight.
When lost, it was best to find a high vantage point to gain a better view and observe the surrounding
environment.
Cloud made his way toward a distant mountain peak.
He stumbled and staggered for quite a while until he finally climbed the peak. Taking a look around, he
suddenly froze.

Standing at such a height, he could easily see that the ce he had just been was ake—more
precisely, a circr pond.
The pond was churning continuously, like watering to a boil.
Under the moonlight, the red soil surrounding the pond formed the shape of an eye, and from a
distance, the pond appeared like the pupil of an eye, surrounded by sinister and crimson eyeballs.
The surrounding mountains were covered in white snow, but the "eye" in front of him remained
