“Sir Fury, can you tell me about the humans in this world?”
While Leo and Fury were travelling to Zephyr Mountains, Leo thought about the enved humans that the ming Lion King had mentioned yesterday.
Leo was itching to free them as someone who hates controlling others’ lives through the ve seal.
However, it was not his gradeless world; instead, it was a grade 1 world where the strength of the humans would also be great.
Therefore, Leo wanted to collect more information about the humans in the Beas before deciding what he could do for them.
‘I wonder what level of ve seals were inscribed on them.’
At the same time, he wondered about the level of the enved seals inscribed on the bodies of the humans.
If it is level 2 enved seals, Leo could help them by devouring those seals with his [Seal Swallowing Ability].
“The wild humans had a decent strength and even managed to mark their territory in the wilderness; however, I don’t know exactly when, but they looked like they were hypnotized.”
Fury was not surprised that Leo asked about the wild humans in the Beas as he briefly informed him what he knew about the humans.
“At first, I thought the spider queen was behind it; however, when a few humans tried to ambush a group of ming lions but got killed by my subordinates, I saw ve seals on their bodies.<sub>-.</sub>
That’s when I understood they were being controlled through the ‘Soul suppressing ve seals’ because the wild humans will never dare to attack the ming lions as they already know the consequences of offending me.”
“Soul suppressing ve seal?”
Leo frowned because it was the cruellest ve seal he had ever seen, and his determination to help the wild humans increased even more.
“Do you know the level of those seals?”
After thinking for a moment, Leo asked Fury about the level of the seal he had seen on those bodies.
The highest soul-suppressing ve seal he had seen was on the Moonlight Unicorn he bought in the auction. It was a level 7 seal which he currently didn’t have the ability to break.
However, it doesn’t mean the humans in this world would be inscribed with the same level of soul-suppressing ve seal.
“The lowest level of ve seal I saw was Level 4, and the highest was level 6; however, the bodies brought by my subordinates belonged to rank 7 to 9 human heroes.”
Fury thought for a moment and replied to Leo.
“The ve seals were already so powerful on rank 7 to 9 human heroes, and I wonder what level of ve seals were inscribed on the supreme-ranked humans.”<sub></sub>
After hearing Fury’s reply, Leo raised his brows and thought about the ve seals on the supreme-ranked human heroes.
Since the wild humans of this world could secure territory for themselves in the wilderness, it tells him how powerful they were.
If the ve Marker inscribed level 4 to 6 ve seals on rank 7 to 9 human heroes, it would be not a surprise if he marked a level 9 ve seal or even higher level ve seals on the supreme rank heroes.
“Are you nning to help them?”
Seeing Leo’s eyes that were filled with determination, Fury could guess that Leo wanted to help his fellow humans.
“Yes.”
Leo nodded because it was his weakness to see the enved beings.
If it were a human, a beast, or a monster, Leo would help them without any hesitation.
“Sigh…even I hate those b*stards that enve others to do their bidding.”
Fury sighed as he continued, “However, that b*stard is quite intelligent and never shows himself. I don’t even know how that b*stard looks. With his cowardly behaviour, killing him and freeing the humans is impossible unless you are nning to kill these enved humans.”
“Don’t worry, Sir Fury. I have other ways to help. However, I need to wait for another six days.”
Even though killing the ve Marker would free all the enved beings under him, there were other ways to free them.
One of which was by using Leo’s ability [Seal Swallowing Ability]. For that, he doesn’t have to kill the ve Marker and quietly finish his work.
However, the problem is that Leo’s [Seal Swallowing Ability] was only at level 2, allowing him to swallow level 1 and 2 seals; however, the lowest ve seal inscribed on the wild human was level 4.
Nevertheless, Leo was putting his hopes on the System Upgrade, which would bepleted in the next six days.
‘I really hope there will be some changes in the [Seal Swallowing Ability] along with the [Talent Swallowing Ability].’
After the system upgrades, Leo was confident in the changes of the already existing abilities along with a new ability. So, he was putting his hopes on it.
“Huh? Other ways?”
Fury raised his brows and curiously asked, “Do you mean you have a way to break those ve seals?”
“Yes. But I need to wait for six days before trying it out.”
Leo didn’t exin much about his [ve Swallowing Ability] as he was still not sure what kind of changes would happen to that ability.
Therefore, he decided to wait for six days before speaking about it.
“Okay.”
Fury could tell Leo was ufortable sharing his method to break the ve seals. So, he didn’t bother him much and nodded his head.
“However, if you need any help in capturing the wild humans, you don’t have to hesitate to ask me.”
They need to stay still to remove or break the ve seal from an enved person.
Even though Leo could kill level 1 and 2 supreme-ranked beings, it might be difficult for him to both suppress them and break the ve seal from the humans.
Moreover, the human territory is guarded by many supreme-ranked humans who would fight to the death. Since Leo didn’t intend to kill the humans, he would be at a great disadvantage.
Therefore, Fury said he would help Leo if he needed help capturing the humans.
“Thank you, Sir Fury. I will not hesitate then.”
Leo agreed to take Fury’s help with a slight smile.
Even though he didn’t like to take more and more favour from the ming Lion King, he needed his help if he wanted to save at least a few humans, if not all.
‘If I am lucky, I might be able to remove the ve seal on my body too and break free from the forbidden curse.’
Besides helping the wild humans of the Beas in freeing them from their ve seals, Leo had another reason to help them.
If he could consume more ve seals, he could upgrade his [Talent Swallowing Ability], and if it reached level 6, he could swallow the level 6 ve seal on his body.
“Amidst our talk, we have already reached the Zephyr Mountains.”
For the entire time, the ming Lion King was running towards the Zephyr mountains while Leo flew while his [Wyvern Wings] beside him.
After travelling for an hour, they reached a region filled with mountains.
‘Screech’
“Sir Fury, what brings you to my territory?”
In the next second, a loud screech resounded in the mountains as a huge Zephyr eaglended in front of them.
