    Half an hourter , we had arranged the desserts on a tray . Raven had smothered her burnt cupcakes


    with so much icing you couldn’t even see the cake at all – they looked anything but appetising . The


    icing dripped down the sides , making me feel a little sick . I was going to feel sorry for anyone who


    tried them . I didn’t tell her that though . Maybe they’d pick up the smell and not taste them . Jasmin’s


    brownies looked good and so did Raihana’s cookies . ” I’ll do the honours . ” Jasmin was about to reach

    While Rayhan was sat on the other sofa on one side . ” Ok , no hinting or anything . ” Raihana said ,


    excitement clear on her face . I felt guilty for the trouble I causedst night . said , popping it into his

    didn’t speak . Rayhan grabbed a cupcake and Alejandro went for a cookie . ” These smell burnt … ” 11

    My eyes were on Alejandro though , as he finally took a piece of the blondie , observing it for a moment


    before he bit into it . His eyes instantly went to me as he swallowed and I tried not to look at his Adams


    apple bopping behind those tattoos that covered his neck . ” These , whatever the fuck they are , are


    fucking delicious . ” He said in his deep voice . Hisment sent my heart racing and m y stomach

    looked between us , the room felt tense and I determinedly kept m y gaze on the TV .


    There was a movie on screen , ready to y . The tension in the room was thick and I was d when


    Raven picked the remote up and pressed y . ” ” This movie isn’t for Raihana’s age … ” ” Hey ! No


    fair ! Even Raven isn’t eighteen ! ” Raihana protested . ” Stop being such a fucking grandma . ”


    Alejandro said , his eyes meeting mine before they dipped lower , running over m e slowly . ” You might


    not look as young as you are but you’re still eighteen , act the fuck like it . ” It was the first words he had


    spoken to m e , and they rendered me speechless . Was that apliment or an insult ? I didn’t say


    anything more as Raven now sat next t o me and we all began to watch the movie . I wasn’t able to


    focus on it .


    I realised Rayhan didn’t even talk directly to Alejandro once , who sat emotionlessly , his dark aura


    swirling around him . I felt his intense gaze on me a few times but I tried not to pay attention to him .


    The few times I did nce at him , I found myself admiring his physique or wondering what Jasmin was


    to him . She seemed content and happy , even leaning on him a few times . And he didn’t seem to


    mind … They seemed … intimate . But then why did he fuck me ? It hurt seeing that , but at the same


    time I don’t know why I should feel like that . The movie suited Alejandro well . It was a dark thriller – ”

    My blondies were gone and I was a little proud that Alejandro had ate more than half . her The movie

    I heard someone move and then his scent became stronger as he neared me . My stomach knotted
