Sally raised her eyes, revealing a glint of coldness. Beatrix shuddered at her intimidating aura as Sally
retorted, “Cooper is my husband. Is there an issue with me bringing him here?”
“Well, only you know if he''s your genuine husband,” retorted Beatrix. “Everyone knows what General
Loake did, and you''re no longer themander''s daughter, so why would Cooper take a liking to you?”
Beatrix paused for a moment before raising her voice. “I bet he''s only after your body!”

Sally furrowed her brows. She could not understand why these women did not seem to grow

Sally despised engaging in verbal insults, but that did not mean she was mediocre at it.
She then turned toward the group of heiresses and warned, “If you have a boyfriend, you better be
wary. This person is known to snatch other people''s boyfriends. Moreover, Eurydice is her cousin. You
will have nowhere to address your grievances if your partners catch her eyes.”
Beatrix''s face flushed with rage when she saw how Sally''s words turned the group of heiresses against
her.
Beatrix had heard of an incident whereby Josephine invited Sally to have fun at a bar. In the end,
Josephine and her friends humiliated Sally such that she could not counterattack and left pathetically.

Beatrix was stunned briefly as she did not expect Cooper to expose Sally in front of everyone.

else do you have to say for yourself?”
“What else does she need to say?” Cooper looked at Beatrix with a smile, but there was no tinge of

Cooper carefully helped to arrange the loose hair strands near Sally''s ears. “My wife is pretty and
