Chapter 799
Chapter 799 I Will Take Care Of Him Here
After he had moistened his throat from half a ss of water, Genevieve asked softly, “Are you feeling
better?”
“Mmm-hmm.”
cing the ss of water back on the table, Genevieve inquired, “How did you wind up in
Jadeborough?”
“I came at an invitation from a friend who had just opened a bike shop,” Harry answered obediently. “As
he had justpleted modifications for a new bike, I borrowed it for a spin.”
“Did you also see a Maybach crash down the slope at Riverdale Street?” Genevieve asked anxiously.
“I think so—” Suddenly, Harry grimaced in pain. “My head hurts. It feels as if someone is piercing my
brain with needles.”
After retching a few times, he ended up vomiting.
Caught by surprise by his sudden symptoms, Genevieve hurriedly wiped the corners of his mouth with
a tissue.
Before long, the doctor who examined Harry returned and quickly gave the anxious Harry a sedative to
calm him down.

He then warned Genevieve in a grim tone, “Due to the shattering of his spine and the concussion he
suffered from the impact, forcing him to remember the past will only cause him pain. Thus, I suggest
that you let him rest ande back tomorrow instead.”
Genevieve didn''t force the issue when she saw the agony on Harry''s face.
Once the doctor left, she pulled Cooper aside and said softly, “Coop, you should go home. I''ll stay back
and take care of him.”
“But you just came back from Dartan.” Just from the look on her face, Cooper could tell that she must
have suffered during her time there. “You should go home and rest. I''ll hire a nurse to take care of him.”
“I''m not tired. I''m just more worried about Mando.” Pursing her lips, Genevieve added, “When Harry
wakes upter, I want to be the first to question him.”
Given that Armand and Harry were also somewhat rted by blood, she was obligated to look after the
Cognizant that it was futile to try and dissuade her, Cooper was left with no choice but to go.
Genevieve subsequently contacted Harry''s attending physician and got him transferred into a VIP
ward.
Just when she took out his phone, intending to give the Hompton family a call, she recalled the
surveince feed showing how much Charice cared for Harry. If shees to look after him or brings
him back to Xedells, I would lose the opportunity to question him.
In the end, Genevieve decided against making the call.
Instead, she headed into the bathroom and brought out a basin of warm water. After wrenching a warm
towel dry, she wiped the spots on Harry''s face that weren''t covered by medication. When she was done
with his lips, she gave his hand a wipe.
All of a sudden, Harry''s fingers twitched before he grabbed Genevieve''s hand so hard that she felt as if
it was going to shatter.
Catching her breath as a reflex to the sharp pain, she looked up and saw him furrowing his brows with
cold sweat beading out of his forehead as if he was having a nightmare. In order to calm him, she
yed some light music on her phone and ced it beside his pillow.
As the soothing music echoed through his ears, the tension between his brows began to ease.
Nevertheless, his grip on Genevieve''s hand didn''t diminish in strength.
Unable to pull her hand away, Genevieve had no choice but to let him continue holding it.
When it was three in the afternoon, Harry woke up again and was baffled to see Genevieve by his side.
“Genevieve, why are you here?”
Observing his expression, she exined in a gentle voice. “You fell while riding your bike. Do you
remember?”
“I did?” Harry couldn''t remember anything at all. “I clearly remember that I was ying table tennis with
my friends. How did I end up riding a bike?”
Genevieve sighed when she resigned herself to the fact that he hadn''t regained his senses. “Are you
hungry? I''ll get someone to bring you food.”
Harry, looking haggard with his ashen face, grunted in agreement.
When the boiled eggs she ordered arrived, Genevieve blew them cold before feeding him with a spoon.
By the time he had finished most of it, Harry was visibly in better spirits.
Worried of unsettling him again, Genevieve kept her questions for another time. Instead, she yed a
movie he chose on her phone and watched it together with him.
At seven in the evening, Timothy arrived at the hospital to see Genevieve.
