Chavez.

The female producer who had been speaking with Sylvie earlier was well aware of the shady goings-on
in the entertainment industry. However, like many others, she was tactful enough not to mention it in
the open.
Naturally, she tried to protect Sylvie''s reputation by suggesting, “Mr. Chavez, if you have any
misunderstandings with Sylvie here, why don''t you discuss it in private?”
“We don''t have any misunderstandings between us. She''s trying to forget about her past,” Ro
replied flippantly. Then, he tightened his arms around Sylvie to stop her from leaving. “Babe, just tell
me straight up if you don''t want to sleep with me. You''re just pissing me off like this.”
Sylvie paled briefly in response.
Thankfully, years of acting experience prevented her from exposing her panic.
With a vicious shove, she pushed Ro away and tidied her hair. She said through gritted teeth, “I
don''t know you at all. If you continue to nder me, I''ll call the police!”
Ro shook his head dramatically and whined, “I''m really disappointed, Babe.”
Suddenly, he pointed at her and smirked before casually dropping a bombshell. “You have a tattoo of a
purple butterfly on your waist. I wouldn''t know about this if I''ve never slept with you.”
Sylvie''s gaze darkened as she spat coldly, “I don''t have any butterfly tattoo.”
“Please, I''ve seen every inch of your skin. How could I forget?” With a hand tucked carelessly in his
pocket, Ro tilted his head and challenged, “Since you insist you don''t have a tattoo, why don''t you
undress and prove your innocence?”
Sylvie instinctively grabbed the cor of her gown and paled.
If she undressed to prove she did not have a tattoo, everyone, including the surveince cameras,
would see her in the nude. Yet if she refused, everyone would think Ro was telling the truth about
them sleeping together.
Either way, her image was ruined.
Her silence fueled Ro''s insolence, and he taunted, “Babe, didn''t you im I was ndering you?
Well, now''s the chance to prove your innocence. Strip off, then!”
Everyone crowded around curiously to watch the show.
Sylvie''s granddad was the renowned Herbert Zeigler, and Ro came from a prominent family in
Jadeborough as well. Thus, everyone refrained from openly expressing their support for either party.
Just then, Coco strolled through the crowd, looking nothing like the meek and timid woman Sylvie had
left behind in the restroom.
She sneered spitefully at Sylvie and said, “Ms. sen, perhaps you''d like to tell everyone something?”
Sylvie''s heart sank. She deliberately raised her purse, cing it in Coco''s line of sight.
Coco did not appear frightened at all as she nced at the purse. Instead, she announced, “If you don''t
want to talk about it, I''ll do it for you!”
She raised her volume and dered, “You''re not Old Mr. Zeigler''s biological granddaughter at all!
You''re just an impostor! Everyone in the Zeigler family knows this and wants you to reveal this to the
public, but you refuse to do so. In fact, you''re still using the Zeigler family name to reap benefits in the
entertainment industry!”
The revtion stunned everyone at the dinner into silence.
A female celebrity asked Sylvie, “Is she telling the truth?”
Coco raised her hand and swore, “I take full responsibility for my statement. If I even lied about a single
detail, I''ll be struck by lighting the second I step out of this hotel!”
Her deadly vow and Sylvie''s continued silence merely confirmed the truth in her words.
Many people no longer feared Sylvie now that thetter no longer had the support of the Zeigler family.
This disgruntled group included celebrities who were dying to seek revenge on Sylvie after she had
stolen opportunities from them. One of them said, “Well, Sylvie, since you swear you''ve never slept
with Mr. Chavez before, undress and prove it to us. If you refuse to do so, you must be trying to hide
that incriminating tattoo.”
