Chapter 702
Chapter 702 I Have Only Loved You
Genevieve had been doing rehabilitation at home for some time, so she could walk slowly in no time.
Rosa was also extremely dedicated, for she made various nutritional soups for her every day.
Genevieve was still very thin previously, but her cheeks were rounded and fleshy by then.
Thus far, the news of Sylvie and Bruce''s wedding had exceeded two billion hits.
Cooper repeatedly reminded Genevieve to prioritize thepany and allow Sylvie a few more days of
respite, if nothing else. His men were watching her, so she wouldn''t be able to go abroad.
Resentment brewed within Genevieve, but she could only put up with it.
A few dayster, Jack returned after settling his business matters. His flightnded in Jadeborough at
night.
“Mr. Valentine.” Rosa took the man''s suitcase with fear lingering within her.
The incident whereby Jack tormented Genevieve to the point that she ran a high fever, coupled with his
horrifying countenance, struck great fear into her.
Verily, I can''t fathom why Ms. Rachford married such a man. While the previous boss, Mr. Faulkner,
was rather indifferent, he was extraordinarily nice to her after the divorce, even remembering what she
liked and hated eating. When I came over to be her housekeeper, he even urged me to take good care
of her.
Murmuring an acknowledgment, Jack removed his coat and handed it to Rosa. With a gift in his hand,
he headed toward the dining room.
Genevieve lifted her head and nced at the man. She didn''t bother greeting him but continued
drinking her soup.
Pulling out the chair beside her, Jack sat down and handed the gift to her. “It''s from Mandy.”
After Genevieve had ripped off the wrapping paper, a watercolor painting came into sight.
A few people were drawn on the paper. The woman in a dress was particrly stunning with long hair.
Two children and an adult stood behind her, their eyes the shape of hearts.
There was even a dialogue box above the children''s and man''s heads that read: The world''s most
beautiful mommy! We''re captivated by you!
At the sight of her daughter''s adorable watercolor painting, the troubles and gloom within her vanished
into thin air.
Seeing the faint smile on her lips, Jack found her incredibly gentle and alluring. He leaned over to kiss
her.
However, Genevieve blocked him off with a hand, her smile fading away.
Hurt crept into Jack''s eyes. “I was in the wrong back then, but I''ve repented. Genev, don''t be angry at
me, okay?” he implored lowly.
At that, Genevieve pressed her lips into a thin line. “Indeed, I haven''t kept my promise to you. But you
also vowed that you''d never force me. I''ve told you that I have no feelings for you. I hope you''ll find the
person you love.”

The tattoo artist Jack found was exceptionally skilled at removing tattoos, so there wasn''t a trace of a
tattoo having been inked onto her waist.
Consequently, her heart also seemed to have hollowed out.
Brushing the hair away from her cheek, Jack dered in a deep voice, “From the beginning of time,
I''ve only loved you. I''ll never fall in love with another woman. I was blinded with envy that day, but I
promise I''ll never force you again.”
Genevieve remembered that he once said the same thing when he almost forced himself on her in the
study back in Dartan a long time ago. But still, there was a second time.
“Okay, I trust you. Let''s eat.” She moved slightly to the side, dodging the man''s touch.
Rosa took a te and cutlery for Jack.
As they were eating, Jack casually remarked, “I saw the news when I came back, and it turned out that
Bruce and Sylvie are getting married next month.”
Genevieve stilled for a moment before she replied cidly, “Yeah, I saw that piece of news eons ago.”
“Genev, I''ve told you long ago that artists would do anything for fame.” Snorting, Jack sneered, “Bruce
was interested in you a second before, but in the next, he had no qualms using marriage to gain
poprity.”
