Chapter 12: Return

After that, I handed over the man to the dungeon supervisor. The process of handing over the man and his party was easy because of Yuis testimony and the men admitted their actions. We were only lightly interviewed about the situation.

The mens punishment itself will be under the jurisdiction of The Adventurers Association. And ording to the dungeon supervisor, they will receive a fairly heavy punishment because of their deed inside the dungeon and their attempt to kill us outside the dungeon.

Thats why Yui and I were immediately released, but a problem awaited me after that. Because I stood out a little too much, it became difficult to challenge the dungeon again. Although I only challenged the dungeon four times today, I decided it would be the best for me to obediently return to my home.

When we reached the nearest station to Yumemi Dungeon, Yui deeply bowed her head to me.

Rin-san, thank you very much for all your help today. I dont know what would happen without Rin-san.

From now on, carefully prepare before challenging the dungeon. About selecting a party and researching about the dungeon''s information, too, of course.

    Yes, I will do so

Yui probably understood that she had some faults in todays matter. Then, Yui embarrassedly dropped her shoulders. However, it was just for a while.

Oh, right! Rin-san, could you give me your contact information?

    Contact information?

Yes! Ive always wanted to get to know an adventurer that I can rely onAh, and Id like to thank you again for todays matter!

    If thats the case

We took out our smartphones and exchanged contact information with each other. Then, Yui squeezed her smartphone with both of her hands like it was a very precious thing and disyed a big smile on her face.

Ehehe, Thank you very much, Rin-san!

    _

I wonder. Its been a while since a woman gave me a carefree smile like that. So, I want you to forgive me for my heart that started pounding after seeing her smile.

That was what I was thinking when the train arrived at the tform. We will need to separate here because our way back was in the opposite direction.

Ah, The train hase. Then Rin-san, see you next time!

    Aa, see you again

After exchanging goodbye with her, I went home.

Level 298 really isn''t a good stopping point Yosh!

On the way home, I stopped at Shion Dungeon and challenged it twice to raise my level to 300.
