    “Knock, knock, knock!”

    Zhou Chao didn’t notice the hint of excitement in Lin Wu’s expression as he sat down and started eating the porridge that was on the table.

    Zhou Chao, lying on the sofa, watched Lin Wu as he finished his preparations and headed towards the door.


    When they arrived in the garage, Zhou Chao saw a Maserati parked in his spot. He remembered it as a reward he had given Lin Wu when he first returned to Modu about a year ago. Now, with his current wealth and status, even the initial tier of luxury cars like this Maserati seemed to belong to a lower level.


    Lin Wu noticed that Zhou Chao was standing still and thought he might be angry about the car. He quickly exined, “Boss, your car is parked over at Junzhou Huating, and I don’t have the keys to that one. So, 1 brought this car instead. It’s my mistake, Boss!”
