    As soon as she arrived at Shine Pearl Tower, Victoria immediately bolted to the ballroom. In the blink of an eye, the ballroom was already decorated with the exhibition''s theme. Right then, the exhibition''s staff members were doing a final check to fill in the details.


    In coboration with a modelingpany and the promotion of its year-end evening wear series, the catwalk runway was set up with captivating lights and guest performances were nned beforehand. Not to mention, the overall choice of in elegant beige with a dark autumn theme had brought about a perfect match to the setting.


    Victoria took a twirl on the runway to ensure that it was firm and stable. She pointed at the corner and said to the person in charge, "The runway isn''t too low, but you have to double check the lights and screws! Moreover, get a floor mat for the back of the stairs to avoid any idents or injuries!

    Based on his previous experiences with Victoria, the person in charge earnestly jotted down every detail of her words.


    "Could someone please clear some space here for two extra flower pots. Besides that, please add a few more simple-styled chairs over at the lounge! The design for the tables must be as simple as possible too! Most importantly, please get a fabric sofa for the VIP section!"


    "No problem! The wooden chairs used for this exhibition are top-notch and they''re high quality as well! It looks magnificent especially when it''s covered with a cotton-padded covering."


    "Gordon, this isn''t the first time we''re working together. It would be lovely if you could get me a reasonable price!" smiled Victoria as she wandered around the massive ballroom. Undoubtedly, she needed to spend a lot for the rental of this venue.


    "You''re an affluent woman, Designer As! This measly amount won''t harm your wallet at all!" said the man as he casuallyughed. "Don''t you worry about it, I''ll definitely get them at a good price for a beauty like you! The quotation will be the same as ourst project but this time there won''t be any discount. You are aware that the cost ofbor and materials has risen tremendously, especially the recyble materials now aren''t as cheap as they once were!     In the midst of their discussion, Victoria extended her hand for a handshake.


    "Don''t worry about it and all the best to our cordial working rtionship!"


    After the handshake and a brief fond greeting, the both of them revised the entire schedule once more before she left the ballroom.


    It took two whole hours for her to run through the entire schedule and ensure that everything was in line. At this moment, her eyes were fixed on her phone as she came out of the washroom. She was scrolling through various photos of the venue that were taken from multiple angles. Deep down, she feared that they might''ve missed out on an important agenda.


    All of a sudden, a subtle ticking sound came across her ears. Instinctively, she instantly looked and rushed towards the elevator, "Excuse me!"


    "Hold the elevator!"


    Victoria stumbled as she came to a halt in front of the elevator. Her mind wentpletely nk as the elevator closed before her eyes. Stunned on the spot, her face became flushed out of anger as she cursed in a soft yet deep voice.


    "You bunch of disgusting people! Shame on you!"


    On the other side, Trevor''s top was obviously sagging and exposed as he lowered his head to adjust his tie. The two buttons at the mid-waist of his shirt were unbuttoned and he was effortlessly tidying his shirt. On the ground squatted a slim woman with half of her face covered by her long and silky hair. She was trying to pick up the broken beads that fell on the floor with her tiny hands. From Victoria''s angle, it seemed like the woman was taking off his trousers to pleasure him in the elevator. Coincidentally, the woman even moaned faintly,


    "Mmm, mmm..."


    It was hard for Victoria to not perceive the wrong idea as she caught a glimpse of that awkward position!


    An indescribable sense of difort arose in Trevor right as he was sshed with some fine powder. Out of the blue, he raised his eyes and excitement was shining in his eyes as soon as he heard a voice from outside the elevator,


    "Is that her?"


    He felt like he had been enchanted ever since he met Victoria. She was the only woman who came to his mind whenever he was alone. Her smile, her voice, her happiness and sorrow, his thoughts werepletely filled with her every expression day and night.


    He deliberately stayed for a few more days on this business trip to get rid of those crazy ideas thattched onto his mind.

    Victoria squinted her eyes in disgust. She hurriedly squeezed into the elevator as soon as the door opened again. It was then she tilted her gaze towards Trevor as the elevator''s door gradually closed. With an inadvertent swipe of an eye, she was confused and taken aback by what she saw,


    "Who is she?" Victoria thought to herself.


    The woman was dressed in a simple and casual outfit. Her tight-knitted top outlined the curves of her upper body. Besides that, her outfit came with red boot- cut jeans and a pair of sneakers. However, her hair was messy, and in rubber bands that could be found from any convenience store were around her wrist.

    Judging by how she was dressed, the woman didn''t seem to be concerned about her physical appearance at all. She obviously came from an ordinary family


    without any sense of luxury and


    lifestyle. Despite that, she clearly knew how to take advantage of her good qualities. Otherwise, she wouldn''t have worn a tight top with a deep V-cut to unt her body,


    especially during the cold season.


    The curves on her body were breathtaking, yet it was a shame that she had an irregr shaped birthmark by the corner of her eyes. Sadly, her birthmark was also quite obvious to the naked eye. It didn''t matter how striking or pretty she was, she simply wasn''t beautiful to Victoria.

    She merely faced another corner of the elevator as it descended slowly. Disgusted by the scene, she gritted her teeth in revulsion and thought, "Ugh, he''s such a womanizer!"


    "My goodness, why is Trevor still with a woman as hideous as her?! Besides that, they were also making out in the office elevator! I''m not even surprised that he''s publicly known as a yboy! How could a woman even trust her life to a man like him!?" Victoria thought.


    As she firmly clenched her fist, she suddenly felt a kick in her stomach. She looked up and closed her eyes.


    Why... Why on earth was she constantly entangled with a man like him? She utterly hated the fact that she was unable to get over such a gross and filthy man!


    The hatred from deep within was once again fiddling with her. She immediately bolted out of the elevator as soon as the door opened.


    On the other end, Trevor was shocked by the sight of Victoria fleeing. Out of nowhere, he subconsciously tried to reach out to her as the elevator was closing. Unfortunately, he was interrupted by a soft voice before he even had the chance to speak.

    As she stood up, Natalie carefully wrapped the tiny diamond as she softly said, "Master Trevor, I''m really sorry, I genuinely didn''t mean to ruin your clothes! Let me send them to the dry cleaners for you!
