    Looking at how furious Lindsay was, Alicia felt reluctant to talk to her. When she turned around in


    hopes of leaving, Lindsay grabbed onto the grocery bag in Alicia''s hand. Whatever Alicia bought


    scattered everywhere on the ground.


    "The hell are you doing? Have you lost your mind? What do you want from me? I don''t have time for


    this!" Alicia shouted.


    Did Lindsaye all the way to cause trouble to her? Was she that bored with her life?


    Alicia was pissed. She bent down to pick up the scattered items.


    "Still pretending, huh? A shameless b*tch is what you are! Riding on your high and mighty horse but


    deep down, you''re just a cheap b*tch. Jeremy is over you! Why are you still texting him? What are


    you up to?"


    "You''re a hypocritical, pretentious good- for-nothing b*tch. You said you''re over him but why are you


    still flirting with him? Calling him in the middle of the night, exchanging texts, and giving him a

    Turning around, Alicia rolled her eyes at Lindsay and walked away.


    "What''s with your attitude?" Lindsay shouted angrily.


    As expected, Lindsay caught up to her as she bawled, stopping her in her tracks. Alicia took two


    steps back and tried to turn the other way. But the next moment, Lindsay blocked her again.


    "B*tch! Don''t you dare go anywhere near him anymore, you hear me? Pester him again and I''ll send

    "What do you want from me? What are you doing here if you im that he loves and cares for you


    that much? You''re obviously lying! I don''t have the time of the day for this. Since you see each other


    every day, don''t you know that he calls me at least 6 times a day and sends streams of texts telling


    me how much he loves and misses me, and wants to see me? Oh right, I almost forgot that you''re

    Alicia mocked without holding back.


    Lindsay was infuriated at what Alicia said. As she trembled in fear, Lindsay pped Alicia.


    "You w*nch! Shameless b*tch! I don''t know what Jeremy likes about you. You''re just a horny,


    scheming b*tch! B*tch!" Lindsay shouted at Alicia.


    Lindsay tried to p Alicia again but Alicia grabbed her wrist before she could. Alicia took out her


    phone and yed the recording she took of Lindsay shouting and screaming moments ago.


    "How do you think Jeremy will react when he hears this recording?" Alicia asked.


    Realizing that Alicia recorded their conversation, Lindsay took two steps back. Her face turned pale


    instantly. "B*tch! You tricked me?"


    After screaming, Lindsay suddenly covered her mouth.


    Alicia chuckled. She raised her eyebrow as she stared at Lindsay.


    "Didn''t you just say that I like to y mind games? What will Jeremy think when he hears this


    conversation? What will he think when he sees that you''re no longer as meek as he thought? Do


    you think he will still love a crazy woman who curses?"

    "It takes one to know one! Now, leave me alone! Let me be clear, I''m not interested in Jeremy


    anymore! I won''t incriminate myself. You can stop bothering me now! If you insist, don’t me me

    Upon finishing her words, Alicia carried her groceries and got into her car. She immediately left the


    parking lot.

    When Alicia got home, she made a few dishes and a soup. She insisted on preparing dinner for two

    Frederick returned from the work as the steamed buns were ready.


    "Hubby, right on time! You''re in luck! I managed to buy thest two crabs avable. They are


    missing a leg but I got a twenty-percent discount because of it! It was a good deal! Luckily I went


    there earlier. Else, I won''t be able to get them."


    It was just a home-cooked dinner anyway; it should not matter. She would not have bought it if it

    "Not bad! Hang on. Did you wait for them to lose a leg before buying them?" What a stingy woman!

    "Hubby, you''re making fun of me again! I am a woman of principle. I won''t snip off the crab''s leg just


    for a discount!"


    Alicia served therger crab that had crab roe to Frederick. "Hubby, this one is for you! Hurry up,


    eat it!"


    Reaching out to take it, Frederick''s gaze turned gentler. After washing his hands, he deshelled the


    crab. The crab roe was oozing from the inside. The one Frederick had was moisterthan Alicia''s.


    Taking a spoonful of crab roe, Frederick fed it to Alicia. "Try it. I hope it tastes as good as it looks!"\


    Without hesitation, Alicia opened her mouth and took a bite. She smiled and replied, "It''s really


    fresh! Just like what the seller said! Hubby! Get a bite!"


    As Frederick de- shelled the crab, he practically fed the entire crab to her. Meanwhile, Alicia was


    still de-shelling the one in her hand without realizing the amount of Frederick''s crab she had


    devoured. Yet, Frederick was mesmerized by how clumsy and impatient she was handling her crab.


    They had a happy meal together. After dinner, Frederick noticed that something was weird about
