    After taking the phone from him, Alicia was shocked. "Hubby, why did you scold him? He is my


    colleague from thepany next door! You are going to offend him!"


    When Alicia was about to reply to him to make peace, Frederick grabbed her phone again as he


    said, "Stay away from this kind of scumbag in the future!"


    While they were talking, another message popped up on her phone. [Who the hell are you? Are you


    the b*stard who ''can''t do it''?]


    Alicia''s eyes widened after seeing what was on the screen. She thought to herself, "What''s wrong


    with him? I have never told him that Frederick''can''t do it''!"


    Frederick blocked him straight away without replying to his text!


    When he raised his head to look at Alicia, she had a nervous smile and was waving her hands in


    denial. "I''ve never said that!"


    Holding his hand ingratiatingly, Alicia tried to offer an exnation.


    "Hubby, don''t be mad! He is the manager of thepany next door. We met each other a few


    times. That''s how we got to know each other. He is a scumbag. He always sleeps with women he


    met in the nightclub and brags about it. He even talks bad about his own wife, saying that she is

    settle ounts with her eventually, thus she could only wait!


    Frederick touched her unkempt hair dotingly as he ced her head down on the pillow. "Close your


    eyes and sleep! Don''t think about anything!"


    Lying in bed with her eyes closed, Alicia was smiling sweetly from ear to ear. After tucking her into


    bed, Frederick was about to get up but his hand was held by someone.


    "Hubby, you won''t leave me alone, will you? Will they kick me out of the room when you are not


    here? I don''t think I can sleep well on this bed..."


    "She has slept for a long time and yet she still says that she can''t sleep well on this bed?" he


    thought.


    Frederick lifted a corner of his mouth as a grin appeared on his face. When their eyes met, Alicia


    knew what was in his mind. She pulled the quilt and stuck out her tongue embarrassedly.


    Frederick stroked her hair tenderly, but he didn''t expose her thoughts. He walked to the side of the


    bed and uttered, "I won''t go anywhere tonight! I''ll sleep with you. I will get back to work when you


    fall asleep."


    After giving him half of the space on the bed, Alicia smiled like a Cheshire cat. Frederick lifted her


    up to let hery in his embrace. After that, Alicia held his waist tightly.


    "Goodnight, Hubby!"


    Leaning against his chest with satisfaction, she had found afortable position to sleep in. Alicia


    held him in her arms and dozed off right away.


    Frederick maintained the same posture until he had heard a steady breathing sound from her. He


    removed his numb arm gently while fixing his gaze on the sleepingdy in front of him.


    It had never urred to Frederick that there would be a woman who would appear in his life in such


    a way. But, at this moment, he felt good.


    He slowly grabbed her hand that was on his waist and gently stroked it. Then, he ced her hand


    under the quilt.


    Although sometimes she would make him mad or speak in a coquettish manner.it could be seen


    that in fact, she was a strong woman. She was stronger than she looked!


    He had a feeling... that she was a good woman after all!


    This was the conclusion that Frederick had made about her in his mind.


    Frederick''s heart softened while caressing her smooth cheeks. However, out of the blue, he seemed


    to have thought of something and took out his cell phone. He then walked out of the door.


    "Chet, do me a favor..." Alicia stayed in the hospital for about half a month due to her health


    condition. She didn''t know whether it was a blessing in disguise, but it was indeed the only time off


    she had in the past three years.


    After getting her discharged from the hospital, Frederick went back to work in thepany.


    Whereas for Alicia, she was forced to rest at home. During the day, she secretly did some work to


    earn some extra ie. Hence, whenever Frederick came to check on her, she would throw on an


    act.


    She took some time to trante two documents one day. Just when Alicia was about to click on the


    save button, her phone that was ced on the table rang. When she answered the phone, she


    clicked on a video website on herputer too.


    She muttered, "Hubby-"


    "What are you doing?"


    Alicia stretched and deliberately spoke with a nasal voice, "Well, didn''t you want me to have a rest?


    I just woke up and I am about to watch a video to destress!"


    On the other end, Frederick''s lips twitched slightly as he averted his gaze from the documents.


    "You''re being so obedient. What movie are you watching?"


    He had seen tons ofzy women and it was rare to see such a young and beautiful girl that worked


    hard like her! Whenever he checked on her, he always felt that she was not as well-behaved as she


    seemed!


    "Huh?" With a cry of surprise, Alicia rushed to look at the website page. She nced at it and


    replied to him casually.


    "Fifty Shades of Grey! An international movie!"


    She didn''t notice that the title was actually "Fifty Snipes of Grey". As she always enjoyed watching


    action movies, she thought she would enjoy watching this movie.


    "Fifty Shades of Grey? Are you sure?" he asked. Wasn''t that an erotic film that was released a few


    years ago?


    "Yeah! It''s a great movie!" Without any doubt, Alicia answered while nodding a few times.


    Frederick chuckled and replied, "Well, it''s not bad! I didn''t expect you to like this kind of movie! Tell


    me about it when I get home. Maybe next time we can watch it together!"


    Although Alicia sensed that something was wrong, she didn''t take it to heart. Instead, she replied,


    "Alright! Hubby, since I''m so well-behaved, can I go outter to have dinner with Mom?" "Go ahead!


    Tell me about the movie tonight when you are back!"
