Kruz had been stuck in the vi all day and was going stir-crazy. The bodyguards wouldn''t let him out, but seeing his pitiful look, Flora finally agreed to sneak him out for dinner.
They picked the Pearl Hotel, a spot well-known in Ray''s circles.
Just as Flora and Kruz had started ordering their food, the door to their private room swung open, and in walked Ray with a swagger.
"Well, if it isn''t Flora," he greeted, his eyes narrowing into an irresistibly charming smile.
