Chapter 1034
Moreover, ording to the investigation conducted by someone Warren had sent to Aiden’s school,
there were many students who discriminated against Aiden because of his hearing impairment.
Those who discriminated against Aiden only knew that Amelia had been in prison. Even though he
had already overturned her case, many people would still keep on discriminating against Aiden
regardless of whether the case had been misjudged.
And what pained Warren the most was that he had brought those discriminations upon Amelia and
Aiden himself.
“Did you find out anything about Irene?” After going through those documents, Warren opened his
mouth again and slowly asked the person in front of him.
“Irene has been released from prison. She came to Strico a few days ago. We haven’t found out
where she is yet, but she probably hasn’t left Strico,” the person said.
Warren’s eyes turned cold. “Then find her. We have to find her even if we have to turn Strico upside
down!” he uttered.
“It’s all because of Irene. If she hadn’t interfered in the first ce, would Amelia and I not havee
to this stage?” he thought, “Five years in prison is too good for her!”
He suspected that Irene came to Strico with malicious intent right after her release. He was
determined to let Irene continue to pay for what she had done back then.
When Amelia went to the smallmodity market for stocking again, she paid a visit to Lucas’ stall
and saw Lucas talking with his employees. Upon seeing Amelia, he hurriedly came forward. “Are
you here to replenish your stock today?” He asked as he nced at the bags in her hands.
“Yeah, I’ve finished restocking, and I thought I’d drop by to see you.” Amelia said, “Did those two
people give you any trouble after you helped me with my tricyclest time?”
“No, that auto shop has been rectified recently. Two security guards and an administrator of the
market were taken to the police station. It is said that they have interests in that auto shop. No one

those things anymore these days,” Lucas said.

“That’s good.” Amelia smiled, then took out a headdress flower and handed it to Lucas. “This is a
headdress flower I bought for Nadine. You can put it on her after braiding her hair.”
“No, I can’t ept this,” Lucas said hurriedly.
“You’ve helped me so much. I’m just getting a little something for Nadine. You don’t have to feel
embarrassed. Besides, she is very delightful,” said Amelia.
“Well then, thank you,” Lucas said and epted the headdress flower.
When Amelia was about to leave, Lucas quickly said, “Let me help you bring these things to your
car.” Then, without waiting for Amelia to respond, he took therge bags from her hand.
Seeing this, Amelia smiled.
The two of them walked to the parking lot outside the market together. Lucas then ced all the
bags on Amelia’s electric tricycle one by one.
“Be careful on the road. Don’t ride too fast,” Lucas reminded her.
“Alright. You should go back now.” Amelia said as she left on her electric tricycle.
Lucas looked at Amelia’s retreating figure for a while before turning back and walking toward the
market.
A ck sedan was parked not far away. Warren sat in the car and watched Lucas’ figure with sullen
eyes, his face gloomy.
After Lucas returned to his stall, his employee said curiously, “Boss, who was that woman just now?
She looks good. She seems like a gentle woman. She’s the owner of the electric tricycle you
repairedst time, right? You even handed it to her personally after fixing it. Could she be our future
lady boss?”
“Back off, you guys,” Lucas chuckled.
“Futuredy boss, huh. Speaking of which, Amelia is indeed a great woman. If I could live and strive
together with such a woman, perhaps my life would get better,” he thought.
However, he was aware that Amelia only treated him as a friend. Deep down, she had always loved
someone named Warren York.

It was just that Warren had hurt her so deeply that it left her disheartened.
Just as Lucas was musing, he suddenly heard his employee exim at the door of the store. “What
can I get for you, sir?”
He looked up and was stunned when he saw the tall figure walking to his stall.
It was Warren!
Even though it had been many years since theyst saw each other, Lucas could still recognize the
man at a nce. After all, such a man with an outstanding appearance was bound to leave a deep
impression on people.
Warren walked up to Lucas and fixed his cold gaze on him. At the thought of the scene where
Amelia walked out of the market with Lucas smiling andughing, he felt a weight and stabbing pain
in his chest.
His breathing became heavy as if there were countless needles continuously pricking his chest,
making him ufortable.
Perhaps, he was jealous. Very jealous.
She could eat together with Lucas, chatting andughing, yet she didn’t want to spend a single
minute with him as if she felt disgusted for spending time with him.
“Mr. York, what can I do for you?” asked Lucas.
Warren nced at him coldly and said, “You remember me.”
“I think it’s hard not to remember someone like you, Mr. York,” Lucas replied.
“Let’s go out and have a chat. After all, this is not a good ce to talk,” said Warren.
Lucas pondered for a moment, then said, “Okay. Let’s go talk outside. There is a diner next to the
market with private rooms. We can talk there.”
Warren did not say anything more. He turned around and walked out of the stall, and Lucas
followed him.
They went to a private room in a nearby restaurant and ordered two cups of coffee.

Lucas looked at the man in front of him. The man was dressed in a suit, with slicked-back dark hair,
revealing his full forehead. His cold and handsome face was adorned with delicate facial features
and exuded an air of nobility. Even though he was just sitting there, he emanated an aura of
elegance.
Such a man could easily capture many women’s attention. It was natural for Amelia to fall in love
with him.
“What would you like to talk about, Mr. York?” Lucas asked.
Warren chuckled, “Do you think there’s anything else we can talk about besides Amelia?”
Hearing this, Lucasughed at himself and said, “Right. So, what do you want to talk to me about
Amelia, Mr. York?”
When he heard the word “Amelia”e out of Lucas’ mouth, Warren frowned and found it
extremely stinging.
“You can’t call her that!” Warren uttered icily.
Lucas said with nomittal politeness, “Amelia has never told me that I can’t call her that, so I
don’t see anything wrong about it. As for you, Mr. York, what right have you to tell me not to call her
that?”
