Without anyone or anywhere else to vent her anger, Chloe thrashed her room.
Until there was nothing left to throw, she pressed a palm to her aching belly and sat on her bed.
She kept repeating Anna’s words in her mind and felt a surge of panic rise in her chest.

"You purposely brought me to the cruise ship party because I would be working at yourpany
soon. When I went out to discuss business deals, I could use your name and it would be easier for

"The other possibility, Nina is my best friend. Maybe you were worried I would be unhappy if Nina
really did that..."
