    Chapter 37 I’ll Save You


    In a groggy state, Amanda opened her eyes and realized she was in an abandoned building.


    Everything around her was a mess.


    Not only was she tied up, but her mouth was also covered with duct tape. She couldn’t think straight.


    Suddenly, she heard her terrible father talking to the kidnappers.


    “Are you sure your son-inw is wealthy enough to get 400,000 in cash in a short time? If you dare lie

    The thug pretended to hit him. A terrified Dick hunched his back and covered his head. “I wouldn’t dare

    The thug took a look at the woman in the corner and went over impatiently. “Don’t say any nonsense.

    Elias finally breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing her voice.

    to me.” Elias reminded her patiently and calmed her down.


    Amanda looked at the thug and said, “He told you to talk to him.”


    The thug then retracted his hand and ced the phone beside his ear. The next moment, he heard


    Elias ordering coldly. “Give her water and food. Don’t speak to her. I’ll send you the money.”


    “Haha! Don’t worry. We’ll take care of your wife. After all, we’re only after money. It’s never been our


    intention to hurt her.


    While the thug was on the phone, Dick stealthily approached Amanda with a bottle of water.


    “Drink some water. When your husband gives them the money, we’ll be safe-


    Before he could finish his words, Amanda bellowed, “Get lost! What right do you have to make Elias

    If not for the fact that she had been tied up, Amanda would’ve strangled Dick to death.


    “Since your husband is loaded, he can afford to help pay off my debts. They’ve threatened to hurt your


    brother. Don’t you feel heartbroken at all? Why are you so unfeeling? Is this what your mother taught


    you?”


    Dick didn’t feel guilty at all. He even felt that since Amanda was his daughter, she was supposed to


    settle the debts for him.


    “Don’t bring up my mom. You don’t have the right to do that. Also, I don’t have a brother. I’m my mom’s


    only child. Don’t call him my brother when he’s your child with some other woman. Get lost now. Your


    presence is revolting!”


    Amanda looked away from the older man. She was worried she would be too exasperated.
