    Sheffield didn''t insist. "Well, fine. There''s still a lot of chances where I could get a kiss from you. I''ll start


    tonight." He teased her and winked at her afterward.


    "Cut it out."


    Sure enough, at dinner, Sheffield served the dishes that he had mentioned. He even opened a bottle of


    red wine and poured two sses for them. With each other''s presence, their dinner was warm and


    romantic.


    That night, Evelyn didn''t go back to the manor. She stayed at Sheffield''s ce as they made the night


    even more romantic.


    The next morning, Sheffield was already making breakfast when Evelyn woke up.


    She appeared at the door of the kitchen in her pajamas. She was still very sleepy while she rubbed her
