    When he heard the knock, he jumped up from the bed and opened the door. "Mrs. Huo?"

    Debbie sat at Carlos'' desk and stared at Tayson as he walked in. "Take a seat."


    He didn''t refuse and sat down opposite her.


    She asked, "Do you know why I called you here?"


    "I can guess why, Mrs. Huo." Such horrible things had happened to Evelyn on his watch. As her


    bodyguard, he had failed in his duty.


    "I don''t think so, Tayson. I just wanted to know if that guy really loves Evelyn. Was she happy or not


    when she was with him? And was Evelyn telling the truth?" A woman always sees things differently


    than a man. Debbie thought that maybe Carlos was wrong this time.

    opening his locker was find his phone. He turned on the screen and saw that there were several


    missed calls, but they were all from people he knew.


    And there were no calls or messages from any unknown number. His heart sank at once.


    Without putting on his white gown, he grabbed his phone and rushed out.


    He ran all the way to the garden where he had met Evelyn. As expected, she was no longer there.


    The inpatient department had two twenty-story buildings. Where could he find her?


    He ran back to his office and took out hisptop. He logged into the hospital system and searched for


    the name "Evelina." The result showed that there was no patient by that name.


    ''Huh? What''s going on?'' Sheffield frowned.


    Only at that moment did he realize that the woman might have hidden a lot of things from him.


    He only knew her name and a few things that she liked and disliked. He didn''t know anything else


    about her.


    Sheffield went to Horace''s office. "Horace, I''m going to the inpatient department. Call me if you need


    anything."


    "What are you going to do in the inpatient department?" Horace felt that Sheffield was being really

    Picking up his eyebrows, Sheffield smirked, "Of course, I''m going to chat with the girls there."


    Horace adjusted his sses and said with admiration, "If I was as handsome as you, I would be doing


    that as well. I would hang around with girls all day."


    Clutching the photo in his pocket, Sheffield left the office without another word.

    As soon as Sheffield showed up at the nurses'' station, the nurses'' eyes lit up with excitement. "Dr.


    Tang!"


    "Why is he in our department?"


    A young nurse boldly walked up to him. She gently stopped Sheffield, who was pretending to be


    looking at his cell phone. "Hello, Dr. Tang."


    Hearing her greeting, Sheffield raised his head and greeted her with a smile, "Hello!"


    The nurse was on cloud nine. "Dr. Tang, are you here looking for someone?" she asked, trying to hide


    her excitement.


    "Oh, here''s the thing. It''s all because of Horace. His sister is admitted in the hospital right now. I came


    here to check on her, but I can''t seem to find her." Even though Sheffield was lying, he looked so calm


    and collected. No one would have doubted his words.


    "Horace''s sister? I didn''t think you were so kind as to check on his sister. Do you know what she looks


    like?" the nurse asked, her eyes glued to his handsome face.


    He searched his pocket and said, "He gave me a picture. Have you seen her?"


    He held up the photo in which Evelyn was feeding an elephant in D City.


    "Wow, she is so beautiful!" the nurse eximed.


    Sheffield said with a smug smile, "Well... I think so too." ''Of course, she is beautiful. She is my woman, ''

    Hearing this, the other nurses immediately gathered around and looked at the picture. "Yeah! There is


    no way that this is Horace''s sister. She doesn''t look anything like him."


    "We''ve never seen her before. I guess she''s not in our department."


    "Oh," said Sheffield with a frown.


    He then forced a smile and took the photo from the nurse. "Since she is not here, I better go and look


    for her in the other departments. Thank you. I''ll buy you an afternoon tea next time."


    "Wow! Don''t forget that!" The nurses watched him leave as they giggled amongst themselves.


    Sheffieldunched a thorough search of the hospital. He went to the respiratory department, the brain


    surgery department, the tumor department... He even went to the pediatric department looking for her,


    but she was nowhere.
