    My Mother Is Alive?


    Saphira’s POV I opened my eyes; it took me a minute to adjust my eyes. As things came in to view


    it, I quickly realized I wasn’t in the garden still. I wasn’t sure where I was. I had never seen this


    ce before. I took a minute to take in my surroundings. I was standing in a field with the Ocean to


    my left and a forest to my right. As I scanned the forest line, movement caught my eye. It was hard


    to make it out at first, but I soon realized it was the wolf that had spoken to me before. Wait, that


    means that is the MOON GODDESS! I swallowed hard as I watched her walk towards me. As she


    drew closer, I could tell that she was much, much bigger than any wolf I had ever encountered


    before. She came to a stop 20 or so feet from me. I should have been terrified, but I was


    surprisingly calm.


    “Hello Saphira, I am so happy I have finally found you. I have been searching for you since the night


    of the crash.” It took me a moment to respond because I was distracted by what I saw. Her fur was


    moving and changing colors. One moment it would look like the night sky with stars and the moon,


    and then what looked like small wolf pups would dash across her side like they were ying tag. It


    was almost like watching an old ck, and white cartoon, except the colors were various shades of


    purple and silver. “Why were you looking for me?” I questioned when I finally registered what she


    had said. “Because you are my Daughter.” I shook my head” no, I really think you must be


    mistaken. My mother died having me. “”Child, who do you think your father was taking you to see at


    the top of that mountain the night he died? Did you ever visit a grave or see an urn of ashes? No?


    That is because there wasn’t one. I am very much alive.” I was beginning to feel anger boiling inside


    of me. “Why did you leave us? Why was I told you were dead? Wait, you are the Moon Goddess;
