“I know.” He Xin looked at his defined features and gorgeous profile; she wished time would stand still forever.
She thought that if she had stayed beside him quietly and supportively, the two of them would eventually end up together. They had so many things going for them: encouragement from their families, simr professions, endlessmon interests.
“Even if you have a girlfriend, you still need friends...”
“I can,” Jiang Yuning replied without ncing up. “I never had friends before anyway; I think I’m quite all right with this arrangement.”
“And I’m not your friend?” He Xin was crestfallen.
“I don’t know.” Jiang Yuning paused to consider her question before he answered frankly, “Apart from research topics and academic-rted things, I don’t wish to talk about other things with you. He Xin, I don’t know why you’re so hung up over this issue. We’ve talked about this several times. I’m swamped. I have to do my research every day, eat, sleep, daydream, and spend time with my girlfriend. If you are so free, you should think about how you canplete the experiment trial you are involved in. Jiang Yuning knocked on the door of the bedroom before going in nervously.
Nian Xi’s knitted cardigan was thrown aside; she was wearing a strappy camisole and ying with her phone on his bed. Perhaps it was because she was a cop. She had curves, and the ck camisole and jeans looked ttering on her. Her neck, her hips to her toes, her lines were sexy, and she was exuding a wild charm.
It was as if someone had sucked out the air from the big room; Jiang Yuning found it challenging to breathe regrly.
“You’re back?” Nian Xi sat up when she heard him walk in, the corners of her mouth upturned. “That was pretty fast. I thought she was going to make you stay for a while more and ask you a few more research questions.”
Jiang Yuning was shocked, “How did you know?”
Nian Xi had a knowing look on her face, “I know plenty of things.”
“You are good, no wonder you’re a cop.” Jiang Yuning looked around the room nervously. He didn’t dare to stare at her exposed corbones and her bare shoulders.
“I’m better at other things, do you want to try?” Nian Xi climbed out of bed, barefoot. She walked over to him on the wooden floor, her right hand gently caressing his cheeks. Her voice was raspy, and she was suggestive.
