<h4>Chapter 35: Exam Part 9 Progress</h4>


    Kaden walked around the dead ape in search of anything that may have been another cause of its death because if he remembers correctly the ape fell before a big enough cut was made that he would consider being lethal. Nothing wasing up and nothing seemed big enough to kill it until Kaden reached the neck of the beast.


    Standing in a pool of blood and covered in blood simr to Kaden, Sky was standing there beside the neck of the ape where its neck had a wide andrge cut going down to its shoulder. From afar when Kaden looked in Sky''s eyes all he saw was an abyss and it scared him a little. Despite all this, he approached her calmly.


    "Sky is that you?!" Kaden shouted towards her.


    Sky turned around quickly making some of the blood fly off of her andnd on Kaden''s already blood-covered body. She seemed like a cornered cat as she turned around because the second she did she went into a battle stance which surprised Kaden but once she realized who was in front of her then her body and expression began to rx. In addition, the abyss in her eyes began to go away and was reced by an extremely happy expression.


    "Kaden! I''m so d you''re here." She said already almost on the brink of tears until she ran forward andtched herself on Kaden by wrapping her arms around his waist in a hug.


    Kaden was surprised by the gesture but quickly wrapped her in a hug as well as he saw that she had begun crying in his chest, "I''m d you''re here too. There was no need to worry if I were to ''die'' here then I would have just appearedpletely fine just outside the exam area. There''s no need to cry you did a great job." Kaden saidbing her bloodied hair.


    Kaden looked at her hand and saw the other dagger that was a part of the set she had. She somehow or another got a hold of the other knife once more despite throwing it on the ground which impressed Kaden tremendously. He then took the dagger that he used to cut his way through the ape and ced it in her other hand which made her look up towards him, "You did good and I''m proud of what you have aplished but now it''s time to keep going and pass this exam!" Kaden said with a smile which made her smile more as well.


    Kaden had no intention of asking how she slew such a beast and only appreciated her efforts. Since the beast was dead Kaden had a good use for the lingering corpse left behind by the ape. Looking above the ape''s body Kaden could see a simr-looking soul from the Rattler earlier and the second he focused on it a prompt appeared in front of him.

    Kaden wasted no time and pressed the ept button which made a simr process happen to the Great Ape as it did with the Rattler. Since the Rattler was removed from the family Kaden''s rank also went down because the number of people in his family was lower but now that the ape was added his rank went back to the power it was from before.


    The ck smoke began encircling the corpse-likest time but one thing that differed was Sky now understood what this meant and didn''t panic like thest time. Once the smoke fully encased the ape it began disappearing which revealed the ape once more but this time the ape hadva-like colors where the veins of the muscles would be and the fur got a little darker giving it an edgier look.


    "Woah he looks awesome!" Kaden shouted as he and Sky released their embrace to look closely at the new and improved Great Ape that was with them.


    Sky only nodded her head in pure awe that such an ability exists with her reaction apparent by her jaw being slightly open. Kaden then ordered the beast like he did with the Rattler to see how it would go, "Pick us up!" He shouted to the ape which responded by standing up and then offering its hand on the ground so Kaden and Sky could board the beast safely.


    Once both of them made their way onto the hand the ape then moved the hand in front of it and waited for the next order by looking at Kaden expectantly.


    "Run that way and kill any beast you see." Kaden said with a simple order before pointing in the northern direction. Kaden''s next n of action was to start giving their team as much points as possible because the beast that he now had under hismand was a lot stronger than the first beast they had encountered and also the one that Ashly''s group was currently riding.


    The ape went to work quickly and began running in the direction that Kaden pointed and in no less than 5 minutes they found their first Rattler that was quite simr to Kaden''s previous one, especially in the eyes or at least that was what Sky said to him. Once they met the Rattler the ape ced Kaden and Sky on the ground quickly and just left them before charging at the Rattler and then ripping it in half.


    The strange thing was that Kaden and Sky had the full intention of helping the beast because it might have some trouble with the beasts, they encounter is what Kaden thought but contrary to his belief the ape was destroying everything in sight and it wasn''t even a close match. The main problem was the beastscked in intelligence and strategy which is what helped them win when they took down the ape themselves, but the good thing was that they were racking up a ton of points and Kaden was happy with the continuous growth.


    Especially the growth of the current army behind him consisting of many different beasts now at hismand.
