    Esther didn''t understand Bradley''splex emotions. She struggled to slip into the back seat and


    closed the car door behind her. As she did, Bradley suddenly gripped her neck, smirked, and pushed


    her against the car door. "Can''t believe you could ever be a virtuous wife."


    Struggling to speak, Esther managed to choke out, "Let... Let go of me."


    "Do you think being engaged to Pendleton means you have someone to support you?"


    Bradley had dark circles under his eyes after staying up all night, checking his phone and tracking
