Chapter 625
Mandy confidently approached Bradley’s hospital room, clutching a bridal gown catalog. She paused at
the door before gently knocking ceremonially.
“Come in,” Bradley said, his voice distant.
Mandy took a deep breath, mustered her courage, and stepped closer to Bradley, catalog in hand.
“Mr. Warner, my brother wanted me to give this to you.”
Bradley nced at the catalog she extended and raised an eyebrow. “What’s this?”
Mandy smiled slyly and replied, “Isn’t this what you wanted?”
Bradley quickly skimmed the catalog, tracing the pages with his slender fingers. His mind wandered to
an image of Esther in a gown by Anna Vanderbilt. He closed the catalog dismissively andmented,
“I prefer traditional wedding attire over a typical gown.” Mandy retorted with a hint of sarcasm, “Do you
think we have a choice, Mr. Warner?”
“Mandy, I’ll discuss the wedding attire directly with your brother,” Bradley replied.
A touch of charm appeared in his deep eyes as he added, “I’ve been married twice, and both times the
brides wore gowns. I want to create a special and unforgettable wedding for us.
Internally, Mandy rolled her eyes. She thought, ‘Thanks a lot, Bradley. You’ve already given me a
memorable wedding-the one where you publicly abandoned me, ruining my reputation. Otherwise, why
would I have changed my name from Liliane to Mandy?’
She considered embarrassing Bradley at their wedding but decided against it.
Her focus returned to her primary goal: bringing down Esther and Bradley. After enduring numerous
surgeries and identity alterations, she had to seed in her revenge quest.
“If Mr. Warner prefers traditional attire, I have no objections,” Mandy said, briefly ncing his way. “But
think it over carefully. Changing your mindter won’t be an option.”
cing the bridal catalog on the bedside table, Bradley met her gaze with an uncharacteristically warm
look. “Mandy, I’ll take responsibility for the rest of your life.”
“I hope you meet my brother’s expectations, then,” Mandy replied.
She hummed to herself and headed back to the hospital room she shared with Esther, eager to show
how attentive Bradley had been.
As she approached the room, she heard Felix’s unmistakable, cheerful voice calling, “Mommy,
Mommy.”
Mandy’s brow furrowed slightly as she gently pushed the door open.
Felix was in Esther’s arms as he looked up upon her arrival.
Seeing Felix, the word “ungrateful” shed through Mandy’s mind. She had raised him for years

despite not being his biological mother. True, they had nannies and maids, but she had never treated
him poorly. Yet, the moment he learned she wasn’t his birth mother, he rushed into Esther’s arms. How
infuriating!
