Chapter 1392
Chapter 1392
Ste expressed her gratitude profusely. She could easily share the prescription with Felicity if she
asked for it. This also meant that she could stay in the loop.
As Ste was leaving, another thought urred to her. She decided to ask Luke about it. nDr. Quinn, is
it considered a medical issue if a person struggles to perform well during sex after consuming alcohol?”
Luke was shocked to hear her question. He chuckled and said, “Well, for most people, it’s perfectly
normal not to perform well when heavily intoxicated. In fact, if someone is able to perform under those
circumstances, it usually means they aren’t actually all that drunk.”
Ste sighed in relief after confirming that it was not a grave concern.

Keegan had been waiting for a considerable amount of time when Ste emerged from the consultation
room. “Did you get your questions answered?” he inquired.
Ste nodded.
“What did you ask?”
“Curiosity killed the cat, you know?” said Ste.
Keegan looked at her momentarily and remarked, “Why do I feel like you’re acting a little guilty?”
Ste did not say a word. It was not guilt on her face but rather to share the news with Keegan, but she
held back. ‘Let’s leave Vermont with some dignity,’ she thought.
Keegan dropped Ste off at the film set before heading back to the office. Just before he arrived at the
office building, his phone rang. He nced at the caller ID and saw it was Luke calling. Keegan quickly
answered the phone, assuming it was additional medical advice.
“Dr. Quinn,” he said.
Luke proceeded, Mr. Kane, could you give me your partner’s contact number? It appears I made an
error regarding one of the prescriptions.”
“You can tell me, and I’ll make sure she gets the message,” Keegan responded.
However, Luke insisted, “It would be best if you could provide me with her number. I need to discuss
something with her. She’s expressed a preference not to involve you in this matter.”
Keegan was not usually so inquisitive. But Luke’s cryptic remark instantaneously aroused his interest.
‘What could he be referring to? Why the secrecy?’ He pursed his lips and said, “Dr. Quinn, does my
wife have any other symptoms? Please don’t withhold any information from me. I’m sure I can handle
the truth.”
Luke did not know how to respond. ‘This man clearly has great affection for his wife. Oh, why does he
have to possess such a problem?’
In the end, Luke sighed and decided toy it all out. “It’s not her with an issue; it’s you.”
Keegan was stunned to hear that. “Huh? What do you mean, Dr. Quinn?”
“Your wife told me about your symptoms,” said Luke as he repeated everything to Keegan, word for
word.
Keegan’s face darkened while he listened to what Ste had told the doctor.
