    when he’s mad at me.”


    Hearing that, Keegan could not help butugh. However, he immediately put on a straight face when


    Ste looked at him. He did not want her to know that she had won him over.


    Ste then leaned in with a smile and said, “Are you not mad at me anymore, Mr. Kane?”


    Keegan gave her a sidelong nce and said, “I’m furious.”


    “I’m trying to cheer you up.” Ste tugged at his sleeve and softly said,” Please don’t be mad anymore,


    Mr. Kane. It’s bad for your health.”


    “Nice try, but that won’t work,’ Keegan replied.


    Ste thought about it for a while and said, “How about I tell you a joke?”


    “No thanks.”


    “Then… Do you want to hear about something that happened at my ss reunion?’
