    Ste looked at him. “You didn’t tell me you went there to receive an award, so why would I? I just


    didn’t want to look like an extra.”


    Keegan chuckled. “I didn’t tell you because I wasn’t sure if I’d win.”


    The first runner-up in that prize was a champion in another category. The result of that person’s


    research was so groundbreaking that it gained a lot of publications in the country. So, he became a lot


    less confident in winning that year.


    He only brought Aldor and two other core team members when he was invited to attend the ceremony.
