Book 6: Chapter 67:2: King Arthur: Excalibur! Part 2


    Chen Heng switched his M762 for an AWM and took the lead, dashing up to the rooftop. Medusa followed close behind him.


    Once they reached the rooftop and opened the doorthey met with a surprise.


    <em>Bang! Bang!</em> Two shots from an S686 shotgun sent Chen Heng sprawling on the floor. He was left bewildered. He crawled back into the attic while the yer with the shotgun began reloading, crouched and ready to pursue.


    As the yer was reloading the shotgun, Medusa rushed out, wielding her M416. She didnt give her opponent a chance to finish reloading and turned him into a crate.

    Whats going on? Jeanne dArc had arrived by now and saw Chen Heng on the ground and Medusa changing her magazine.


    Lets not worry about it for now. Resuscitate me first.

    After Chen Heng was helped up, he decided against staying on the rooftop and descended to the lower floor.


    I really didnt expect it. As soon as I opened the door, there was a yer crouched in front of it with an S686 aimed at me. You know how powerful shotguns are; two shots, and I was down, Chen Heng exined, addressing the people gathered around him while treating himself with various medical supplies.


    When did that guy upstairs start crouching there?

    The game was nearing its final stage. As Chen Heng expected, this dormitory building had be the epicenter of the final battle. A fully equipped team had driven down the southern slope of the dormitory buildings and contested for the site with Chen Hengs group, resulting in an intense battle.


    At the start, Chen Heng took down one yer with a single shot from his AWM. However, just as Medusa was about to finish off that yer, two precise shots from an AK hit her in the head, instantly incapacitating her.


    Besides Chen Heng, who had not exposed his head, Jeanne dArc and Eresh were also hit by AK bullets. The driver with the AK47 had a perfect 100 percent uracy, but what was even more outrageous was that the bullets seemed to curve.


    In the end, Chen Hengs team secured victory, mainly due to Chen Heng shooting down the cheater while he was swapping magazines for his AK.


    That cheaters hacks were incredible, but Chen Heng did not give him a chance to shoot again. Chen Heng got him in the head with the AWM, and he immediately fell to his knees. Fortunately, this yer only had an aimbot and not a health cheat.


    Chen Hengs team paid the price of two members but sessfully wiped out the enemys full team of four. However, just as Chen Heng was about to eliminate thest enemy yer, the opposing red side took down two of Chen Hengs teammates, earning their heads.


    The current situation was that the game was about to enter the final circle. The scores for the red and ck sides were tied, with only three teams remaining: the ck side, the red side, and an unknown three-yer team. Well, it should be said that there were four teams because Ryougi Shiki was ying solo, while Chen Heng and Jeanne dArc were a duo.


    At this point, Chen Hengs team couldnt be considered safe yet.


    First ce: 20 points.


    Second ce: 15 points.


    Third ce: 12 points.


    Fourth ce: 10 points.


    If the red side won the battle royale and killed all the remaining yers, they could still secure victory.

    Using the mirror shard, Chen Heng observed King Arthur upstairs spraying wildly with an AK, which gave him quite a headache.


    It wasnt the AK spray itself that was frightening but King Arthurs unnaturally high uracy, which made Chen Hengs teammates hesitant to expose themselves. Using grenades was risky because the sound of removing the safety pin was exceptionally loud and could be easily heard by the enemy, leading to them changing positions.


    Furthermore, while King Arthur was in the open, Gilgamesh was concealed. Gilgameshs sniping was also extremely precise.


    In this game, bing proficient with firearms was quite straightforward, thanks to AI assistance. If you had fast dynamic vision and reaction speed, you could easily be a skilled yer. At least within a range of 200 meters, factors like wind speed and bullet drop werent even worth considering.


    Now, thest breakthrough opportunityy with the third team, apart from the red and ck sides. If Chen Hengs side eliminated this third team, the red side would be at a severe disadvantage. Elimination points would add three to their score, and then there were the ranking points for second and third ce, resulting in a total of 30 points. Even if the ck side were wiped out by the red side, the ck side could still win.


    However, if the red side took down the third team, the red side would have a chance to turn things around.
