Book 5: Chapter 27: This Atomic Bomb Is Really Ridiculous


    Welt used his ability toy a barrier for himself, then controlled the Star of Eden to counterattack.


    Many dark-red gravity waves shot out of the Star of Eden. However, the imaginary barrier Sirin hadid blocked the attacks for Chen Heng, who was beside her.


    “Elder Brother, it looks like you became the target of the enemy.”


    “I’m not surprised. After all, I’m just an ordinary person. To others, I am the best target.” Chen Heng considered Welt’s attack normal, as he had presented himself as the mastermind behind all this.


    In reality, Welt thought the same too. It was not just Welt but also Siegfried since Sirin had not disyed any malice towards humanity yet. On the contrary, Chen Heng, the ordinary person,manded the Herrscher of the Void to attack them.


    Just this point alone made Chen Heng very suspicious.


    “1st Herrscher, is that all you are capable of? You cannot break my defense at all; your attacks merely itch. Is this your full power?”


    Sirin’s mockery did not affect Welt; he continued to dodge seriously and used the Star of Eden to break Sirin’s imaginary barrier. Rather, it was Chen Heng who showed a strange expression while looking at Sirin.


    Honestly speaking, Chen Heng did not want too much harm toe to Sirin. However, Sirin’s inting ego was indeed a problem.


    A massive dark-red gravity wave appeared beside Welt, blocking Chen Heng’s and Sirin’s vision. When the gravity wave scattered, Welt had vanished.


    When Welt next appeared, he was already next to Chen Heng, separated by only an imaginary barrier.


    <em>Erm…is Welt seeking death?</em> Chen Heng did not get flustered; he even felt likeughing.


    Even if Welt could break the imaginary barrier and hit Chen Heng, he could not overwhelm the toughness of Chen Heng’s physical body.


    How could a Nascent Soul Realm cultivator’s physical body be so fragile? Furthermore, Chen Heng had initiated his cultivation journey using martial arts, and his body had already undergone two awakenings.


    “Ant, you fell for it.”


    Just as Welt tried to break the imaginary barrier with a punch, arge ghostly hand appeared silently behind him and grabbed him. Then it tossed him towards the mouth of Benares, which had suddenly rushed out of the snow.


    Furthermore, Benares was extremely cooperative, swallowing Welt in one gulp.


    “Be, well done.” Sirin gently patted the Honkai Beast’s head, like she was petting a pet.


    Since Chen Heng told Sirin she did not need to hold back against this 1st Herrscher and could beat him up as she pleased, Sirin followed his instructions and fed Welt to Be.


    “Elder Brother…”


    Just as Sirin wanted to dere her victory, Be suddenly roared. Then a hole opened up in its stomach. After that, Welt climbed out of that hole.


    “Hey, hey! Don’t think you can defeat me that easily. The second round has only just begun.”


    Be roared and swiped a dragon w at Welt. However, a humongous mech suddenly appeared and knocked it into the snow.


    Numerous mechs, cannons, cruisers, battleships, nes, and tanks appeared behind and around Welt.


    The second round formally began.


    The army behind Welt fired on Sirin. Various projectiles, missiles, and evensers shot towards her.


    “Damn it! Are they man-made objects? No. These things can damage me…they are Honkai Energy.”


    Although the 1st Herrscher’s ability to create these mechs out of nothing surprised Sirin, she did not fluster.


    Sirin used her spatial transfer ability to turn the attacks back on the army.


    However, the destroyed army reverted to Honkai Energy, which Welt reused to make a new army.


    “How awesome!” Chen Heng could not help marveling at this.


    “How was that? Elder Brother, is your younger sister awesome?” Sirin felt thrilled upon hearing Chen Heng’s praise.


    “Sirin, don’t misunderstand. When I said awesome, I was referring to the other side. Indeed, mechs are truly a man’s romance.”


    “…Elder Brother, I think you are better off dead.”


    Thus, the two ended up in a protracted battle. Welt used Honkai Energy to manifest various weapons of war to attack Sirin. Then she used her spatial transfer to return the attacks. After that, Welt would use the scattered Honkai Energy to manifest his army again.


    This was an endless cycle. It was just a matter of who couldst longer. Barring external interference, Welt, who had not fully awakened as a Herrscher, could not match Sirin. However, Welt was not fighting alone.

    Einstein stood at a vantage point in Babylon Labs and watched the battlefield. Then she spoke into amunication device. “Te, we can begin now.”

    “Got it, Mophead. Let’s show the 2nd Herrscher humanity’s true strength!”

    Facts had proven that the not-fully awakened 1st Herrscher could not defeat Sirin.


    After some time in this battle of attrition, Sirin gained the upper hand.


    Sirin used her ghostly hands to pull Welt before her. However, when she turned him to face her, she discovered he was actually smiling.


    Suddenly, Sirin sensed grave danger from above. When she looked up, she saw an enormous conical projectile. Although she did not know what kind of projectile it was, her instincts told her it was deadly.


    This weapon was the Herrscher-killing weapon Anti-Entropy’s Einstein had invented: the atomic bomb.


    After Sirin discovered the atomic bomb, her first reaction was to look worriedly at Chen Heng.


    This atomic bomb flew rapidly, and Sirin discovered it toote. The amount of time she had was insufficient for her to send the weapon far away. Furthermore, her instinct told her that the explosion had an extremely, extremelyrge range.


    All Sirin could think of was to send the atomic bomb deep into the ground and use the ground as a shield against this weapon.


    In fact, Sirin tried to do that. She created arge ck hole above her head, big enough to contain the entire atomic bomb.


    Welt, who would be in the range of the atomic bomb, continued smiling, not worried about his survival. However, he soon stopped smiling.


    “Elder Brother, hold me tightter.” Sirin did not forget to remind Chen Heng when she opened the ck hole.


    “Alright, alright. Don’t look like you are about to die. Leave this atomic bomb to me.” Chen Heng waved his hand. Then he flew out of the imaginary barrier before her shocked gaze.
