    “Amiya, is the value of LMD that low? One box of biscuits costs over a thousand LMD?”


    “It’s not like that. Spices, seasonings, sugar, and such goods are rare resources in our world, so they are rtively expensive.”


    “So, that’s the case. Different worlds operate differently.”

    “That’s right. Amilu, what does ourpany do?” Chen Heng suddenly recalled he still did not know what Rhodes Ind did.


    “That is too much. Mister He Who Knows Fate, it’s Amiya!” Amiya’s cheeks puffed up as she pouted.


    “Haven’t Ipensated you with biscuits?”


    “Huh? Mister He Who Knows Fate, did you give me a treat so that you could tease me?”


    “I’m just joking. The main reason is your ears, making me feel mischievous. Back on topic, what does ourpany do? Mercenaries? Security? What else?”


    “…Mister He Who Knows Fate, Rhodes Ind is a pharmaceuticalpany. We primarily treat the infected. Of course, we delve into other businesses.”

    “Mister He Who Knows Fate, why aren’t you saying anything?” Amiya waved her hand in front of Chen Heng’s eyes.


    “I was thinking that reality is sometimes even more outrageous than novels. I did not expect Rhodes Ind to be a pharmaceuticalpany when it has operators with sses like Caster, Defender, Guard, Medic, Sniper, Specialist, Supporter, and Vanguard. Are the factions of Terra all so outrageous?”


    Chen Heng decided to y <em>Arknights</em>. This was the first time he saw a pharmaceuticalpany cing such a heavy focus on arming its members. <em>What is this? The Umbre Corporation?</em>

    “We are currently in a semichaotic age. Even a pharmaceuticalpany needs the ability to protect itself,” Amiya exined patiently to Chen Heng.


    “That is to say, you fear people using violence on the doctors?”

    “You can put it that way, I suppose.” Amiya could no longer find words to describe Chen Heng. Although this exnation seemed practical and suitable, it sounded somewhat strange.


    “It looks like, no matter which world it is, there will always be conflicts between healthcare professionals and patients. So, does Rhodes Ind n to beat an unreasonable patient half-dead first before rescuing him? Putting other things aside, that makes sense.”


    “Ah…this…” Amiya wanted to refute but did not know where to start.

    “That is for sure. Rhodes Ind is awesome!” Amiya felt happy upon hearing Chen Heng praise Rhodes Ind.

    “Gender?”


    “…Male.”


    “Combat experience?”


    “Thirteen years?”

    An extremely fashionably dressed woman sat across from Chen Heng. She was Miss Orchid, the person responsible for Rhodes Ind’s recruitment.

    Chen Heng was sitting in an office in Rhodes Ind, being interviewed. As he had not brought a resume and was just following what Kal’tsit made up for him, he might as well let the recruiter record it on the spot.


    “Sorry to trouble you, Miss Orchid.”


    “Birth date?” Since Rhodes Ind’s leader apanied He Who Knows Fate, Orchid had to give him some face.


    “March 7.”


    “…Race?” Although Orchid suspected the birth date was false, it was still a reasonable answer.


    “Killer…killer whale?” Now, even Chen Heng did not dare to be confident.


    In reality, Kal’tsit had prepared this information for Chen Heng. However, having killer whale as his race was somewhat overboard, right?


    Orchid’s hand paused above the document for a moment, but she filled in He Who Knows Fate’s race as killer whale. “Height?”


    “180cm.”


    “Weight?”

    It was not that Chen Heng did not want to say. However, in the details Kal’tsit gave him, there were just two solid ck squares. Furthermore, he was uncertain what his exact weight was now. He might have put on weight from feeding those foodies at home.

    “Infection status?”


    “Non-infected.”


    After Chen Heng answered the questions, Orchid handed the form to Amiya at the side.


    “Go to the evaluation department for your evaluation. Also, please don’t just copy the information of another operator without changing anything. He Who Knows Fate’s data is exactly the same as our 6-star Guard operator Skadi, even down to the birth date.”

    “Sorry to trouble you, Miss Orchid. We are going for the evaluation now.” Amiya felt somewhat embarrassed, as even she could tell this information was false. Aside from the code name, gender, and height, everything else copied Skadi’s profile.


    “Skadi?” Although Chen Heng knew this Skadi was not the Skadi in his group, he still asked about her.


    Amiya did not answer. Instead, she pulled on Chen Heng’s sleeve and left the room.


    “Amiya, did Kal’tsit truly randomly pull out an operator profile to use as a temte for mine?”


    “That’s not it, Mister He Who Knows Fate. This is the operator profile Kal’tsit specially picked out for you after meticulous selection.”


    “So, it really is directly copied from that operator called Skadi’s profile!”


    “There’s a reason for that. Mister He Who Knows Fate does not have any racial traits, so she chose Miss Skadi’s operator profile to avoid unnecessary trouble, as Miss Skadi does not have these traits, either.”
